The room was musty and there was a gap under the door that allowed bugs to get in. Also there was only scalding hot water in the shower in the morning no matter what temperature it was set at. The gentleman that checked us out when leaving was very helpful and professional.

Room was ok, shows age. Hot tub was full of kids so not usable. Office was poorly marked and hard to find. Breakfast was ok. Bacon was so thin melted in your mouth and very crispy. Good was close to beach and fun activities.

Would stay here again

Hotel was very clean & the beds were comfy, but could use some room updates. Just being picky, but the light-blocking curtains had holes in them & were patched up with tape. There was a gap under the door that let humid air in & could have let critters & bugs in (although we didn't see any). Also, the shower curtain wasn't long enough to prevent the water from getting on the floor during/ after showers. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and there was a nice outdoor fireplace area with comfy outdoor couches near the pool--it was nice sitting there at night relaxing with a beer. The location was perfect as it was fairly close to all the things we wanted to see. The breakfast buffet was busy, but the food was fresh & hot with a lot of variety compared to some free breakfast buffets. Overall a good deal when compared to a lot of the other over-priced hotels in the area.

Close to LegoLand, some upkeep needed.

We got to play the daily game of door key roulette. It was always a 50-50 shot as to whether the key would work, or if we'd have to go back to the front desk to get them reset. There was always a line of people having the same issue.. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were nice and accommodating. The property could use some minimal repair. Our room door had a large gap at the bottom of the door that let plenty of light and bugs. I had to stuff some towels at the bottom to keep ants and other bugs out. Breakfast was nice, good options with fresh fruit. There's also several dinning options within a small area of the hotel, and Lego land is less than a 10 minute drive to the parking lot.

The amenities were below average considering how many other hotel options there are in the area. The freeway noise was unbearable for the basic windows. The pillows were just awful. I wish I had spent more and stayed somewhere else.

The stay was good except: 1) the keycard didn’t work multiple times to the point we had to go downstairs three times to get a new one; 2) When we tried to do laundry, my daughter’s swimsuit got burned. Breakfast was pretty good, location as well.

is a good hotel , stuff friendly , good breakfast , legoland is about 12 minutes driving , the beach is about 15 minutes walking (not sure with kids and carry stuff ) . driving to the beach can be very hard to find parking ! , the pro hotel is next to freeway 5 noisy ( loud) all night . overall is a good busy hotel but too noisy for sleep !

Sad how down hill it has gone

Was not impressed with being put on the second floor when I called and I specifically posted because of my scooter it's difficult to get in and out of their elevator that I needed a first floor room which of course they did not Reserve I also did the pre check in said it was going to be easier to all I had to do was go get my keys which was not correct at all I still have to go through all the check-in process even though I already did it online for their website saying it was going to be easier it smelled like mildew we had ants all over the place it was the only thing that was good was the bed was comfortable that was the only good thing that happened out of this trip I will not be staying at La Quinta ever again
