Surf retreat 1 block from the beach near Boardwalk

Our 2nd-floor condo is located across from Carolina Beach Lake Park, 1 block away from the beach access and a short walk to downtown and the boardwalk. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms give you enough room for the whole family. Enjoy the breeze on the large porch with two sitting areas, walk to the Veggie Wagon or Crush and Grind to grab a coffee in the morning, or get a beer from the Fat Pelican at night. When you stay at The Landing, you’re steps away from everything the island has to offer! Our surf inspired retreat has an open floor plan that connects the kitchen to the living room to the outdoor porch. Get the entire family together and spread out on the massive couch, chill in one of the 3 bedrooms, or have a family dinner in the dining room. LIVING ROOM The large living room is attached to the kitchen and provides seating for everyone. Watch tv or log into Netflix or Hulu and keep streaming your favorite shows. DINING ROOM Enjoy dinners at the dining table surrounded by our fun palm wallpaper and look out the large bay window. With 6 existing seats, we have additional chairs around the condo that can be added to provide more room if needed. KITCHEN We love to cook when we're at the condo, so the kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, and all essential tools. You'll have access to coffee makers (drip or french press) and an electric kettle. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, stove, and refrigerator with ice maker. We provide some Public Goods dishwasher detergent to get you started. BEDROOMS There are three bedrooms in the condo, all with closets to store your clothes while you are here. Each room also has extra linens in each closet. The main bedroom has a bathroom attached. BATHROOMS We have two bathrooms with a shower tub. One bathroom is connected to the main bedroom. Both are stocked with towels and washcloths, plus soap, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner by Public Goods. LAUNDRY We have a washer and dryer in case you would like to do laundry. Don’t worry, we also have some Public Goods laundry detergent to get you started. PORCH The condo has a very large porch that runs across the front of the unit. We have a nice bench sitting area and a small dining table for 4. The breeze off the ocean is perfect on those summer evenings. Guests will be provided a unique code for access at the time of booking. If a code is not received, please reach out to hosts for more information. You'll have everything you need to access the condo on your own. Feel free to message in the app if there is anything you need. In case of emergency we will provide a phone number, but otherwise we won't intrude on your vacation. Carolina Beach still holds onto vibes of a beach era gone by. Head down to the boardwalk for a bite to eat, some of our favorites are Nauti Dog, Nollies Tacos and SeaWitch Cafe and Tiki bar and don't forget about Britt's donuts! And that is just near the boardwalk. There are plenty of great options all along the beach. Another hidden gem is Good Hops, the only brewery on the island, where you can sip some great beer and try your luck at the frisbee golf course that weaves around the brewery! You'll quickly realize you can relax as much as you want, or fill each hour with something exciting. You are next door to Hang Ten, which has good burgers and beers. Walk about 10 minutes into the heart of the Boardwalk where you’ll find numerous restaurants, bars, and shops (including ice cream!). **THINGS TO KNOW** AGE REQUIREMENT This is also in our rules, but we get a lot of questions about this. We currently require our renters to be 25 years of age. PETS Also in our rules, but sadly we do not allow your furry friends at our condo. ACCESSIBILITY The condo is on the first floor, but it is 1 story above the ground on stilts. There is an elevator in the building for accessibility. COMMON AREA There is a shower and hose to rinse off on the East side of the building entry. Please use this before you enter the building when coming from the beach. There are no grills on the property and we ask that you do not grill under the building or on the porch as these are fire safety concerns. PARKING We guarantee TWO parking places. The unit has two designated parking spaces at the end of the parking lot. While there is a large garage, we have found it very difficult to get cars in and out and do not recommend parking in the garage. If you park in someone else’s designated space, you will be towed. CONNECTIVITY We have high-speed WIFI capable of WFH (we do it all the time!). GARAGE We provide 8 beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon for complementary use. We encourage you to leave your other beach gear in the garage when you are not using it.
