I drove up and saw the condition of the buildings and asked for my reservation to be removed. I would not allow my dog to stay there. I choose to drive 3 hours back to Sacramento for the night then drive back to Minden the next day.

The room smelled TERRIBLE. There was no one at the front desk, at anytime I went in there... The property was dilapidated and $140 is way too high for Minden's distance from Tahoe

Building literally falling apart!

This hotel is literally falling apart! The top floor was blocked off and the overhang was crumbling and falling apart! The pool was empty and full of weeds growing through. There was a burned out room where the door did not close completely. Broken down benches on the patio and swarms of wasps! It should be condemned due to the condition of the building. Our room was not cleaned well ,bathroom shower was dirty as were the floors and walls. The staff was friendly and check in was quick but the condition of the hotel was appalling! We booked non refundable because the pictures online looked decent and we were only going to be there for one night for our childs sports tournament and that was a HUGE misleading mistake!

1st room was dirty had trash still in room in bags. Went to front desk he wanted to argue about room being dirty, had him follow me to room show him. I had a single bed room, he gave me a double bed room which I didn’t want but said he won’t charge extra. That room door latch didn’t work, trash on the floor, towels was dirty. One room door was open all night that no one was staying in. Disgusting place don’t stay here

I’ve stayed at plenty of quality inns due to traveling for work. I am Amazed that choice hotels lets this property claim them. Probably should be condemned (or is and they’re still renting rooms) The entire upstairs is blocked off. Multiple rooms are just being used for storage. Pool hasn’t seen water in it since the last storm came thru. Good news is it’s quiet and plenty of parking because they can probably only rent out a dozen or so functioning. rooms. It still has the old quality inn info book in the room explaining the amenities that aren’t there like continental breakfast and wifi. Electrical Outlets in the room are barely in the wall much like the lights in the ceiling. Door to bathroom wouldn’t stay shut. Hairdryer was glowing so fire red that I thought my wife was going to catch fire after the first few seconds she turned it on. Once the shades were pulled shut we couldn’t get them open again, which I’m sure the grass spider living in the curtain appreciated. I named him Blinky and told him not to introduce himself to my wife or he would be losing his weekend roommates for sure. To end this on a good note it did have hot water and the ac worked. Would I pay more than the $70 for 2 more nights online again?probably not.

The staff were very nice the one I’m only able to talk to checking in. However, place were not pleasant at all especially for the amount that I paid. Our room floor was dirty they still have melted ice on the bucket from whoever stayed there last time. Ice room /laundry were sort of filthy. I feel so bad for the staff I talk to to sound like she was so busy no one is ever on the counter you have to call them.

First of all we did not “stay” here. We checked in and then viewed the room. Upon entering the room we were hit with a strong odor of urine. We were part of a group we had all booked rooms here (5 rooms total). Everyone had a grievance with the property, bugs, smell, cleanliness and above all safety. Tweakers staying at the property and the top floor of the property was closed off and the upstairs walkway appeared very unstable. As if it could collapse at any moment and seriously injure someone. Needless to say all of us in the group had checked out and stayed at another hotel.

when we got there they were unlclogging the toilet in my parents room. then when we got ino our room it smelled like sewer. the door had been kicked in and the door lock did not get replaced. you can see through the deadbolt and the door latched when the door is closed. all of the upstairs were boarded and looked very unstable. The room they gave us was the room my niece was in and she got moved out of because of bed bugs 20 minutes before we got there. we had 7 rooms booked and we all had to check out at the same time after an hour. not sure how this place is up to code.

Bed bugs, hair in the bathroom. 2 story was under construction as it was deteriorating and could collapse anytime. Worse of all is the bed bugs! My party and i check in 5 rooms and we all left within an hour to find another stay. Front service guy was disrespectful and think we are lying until we took him to the room and shown the bed bug crawling. Giving another room but giving my other family the same room with the bed bugs!!! We will be disputing to get our refund. Stay away from this place!
