Great period property in the centre of Cartagena. Effiecient and knowledgeable employees. We only ate breakfast there but the restaurant was of a good standard. Big shout out to Stephanie who was super fríendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay.

This hotel is beautiful and decorated to a high standard. We loved the breakfast in the mornings and cocktails in the evenings. The rooms were spacious and amazing. The bed was very comfortable

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Casona del Colegio along with the rest of our wedding party. The hotel manager Mr. Rojas and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to coordinate our wedding party and make our stays memorable. Never had such a warm and welcoming experience at any other hotel quite like how Mr. Rojas and his staff treated us during our entire stay. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located near all the best restaurants, nightlife, shopping and close to the docks for day trips to the islands. The hotel lobby, pool, and common areas were clean and chic. The hotel rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant and bar were both great as well. The hotel was secure and had a doorman greet us every time we entered. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you again Mr. Rojas!

We had a wonderful stay. The property is so convenient to all the sights of the walled city. The staff were incredibly friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, with luxury amenities. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool one afternoon which was incredible! If we find ourselves back in cartagena will definitely stay here.

This hotel was amazing. Staff was great, attentive and friendly. Rooms were phenomenal. The hotel was clean. Food was good. Everything was awesome. But, outside our room was party until late hours every night and cabs honking non stop. Bring ear plugs and you’ll love it.

The hotel was very quaint and picturest. What they didn’t tell you was how noisey your room was from all the foot traffic and people partying in the streets of the walled city area. They provided you with ear plugs so that you might sleep but it didn’t help much. Luckily l wasn’t really affected by the noise and was able to sleep. If you are a light sleeper, l would not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, but noisy part of the city

Wonderful hotel, great staff, but the “soundproof” windows were not adequate to sleep with the partying and traffic noise from the street below. Lovely central courtyard in the hotel and a rooftop pool to cool off were nice additions.
