This was the worst experience we have ever had. The cabins are absolutely toxic. They reek of fumes and formaldehyde! We could not breathe, had to open windows to try to get fresh air and left our stay early due to headaches and extremely hard beds. When we called to let them know that we were having to leave because the room was toxic, we were told “Yeah, some people have had to deal with that”. Are you kidding me??? Not only are the rooms toxic but they are FULLY aware of it and don’t care. This place is just a money grab and false advertising. There are maybe 4 cabins actually “on the lake” the rest of the cabins are near the lake but actually face the back of other cabins. So stupid to layout cabins without a lake view but claim “lake views”. Never did see the snow covered mountain that they show pics of like it’s visible from the cabins. Non-existent. Trust me… keep looking and keep driving past this place. We will NEVER be back! We did lose money for not staying the 2nd night cause we could barely stay 1st night but it was worth it to gladly find a nice, clean, fresh air, breathable, very roomy, big bathroom, and comfy bed at the Hampton!
