The room was filthy. Carpets had not been vacuumed. There were crumbs in the dresser drawers. The tub had someone’s hair left in it. Thankfully the sheets were clean. We would have left but it was the only hotel available in the area and we arrived late. The complimentary breakfast was sparse at best. Would not recommend at all.

I noticed that there were some remnants of what I hope was tobacco spit on the floor in the bathroom on the wall across from the toilet. That was gross. I’m hoping that by next year the rooms are remodeled or updated. I heard some workers upstairs working on a room then and the service staff mentioned that as well. It didn’t bother me just was hope I’m hopeful for updating.

Okay for the price

I will first say that the help staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a question and the lady came down and persnonally showed me how to operate the AC. When I first entered the room it had an off putting odor until the AC was turned on. The hair dryer did not work nor did the receptacle over the sink. The phone did not work as I was going to ask for a wake up call. They had a clock radio there and I couldn't get that to work either. I had brought my own clock and couldn't find an outlet. Luckily I had my own hair dryer. The room was comfortable but when I started to turn down the sheets there was a bug on the bedspread. The room was very outdated but it was comfortable and I didn't need a Ritz Carlton type hotel. It served the purpose for a one night stay. The breakfast was subpar. I overlooked a lot of these things as this is a budget motel and you get what you paid for.

THis hotel has the highest rating for customer service and cleanliness I've been to in years! Closs to shopping,food,activities,gas, everything! Wish there was an establishment like this in every city I visit!
