On the opposite side of the property the famous soaring peaks of the Lefki Ori mountain range provide the most scenic of backdrops to a further selection of far-reaching rural views.

The village of Upper Stalos (a 5 minute drive) has a handful of convivial tavernas serving traditional Greek delicacies or continue another 5 minutes further to the bustling coastal village of Stalos itself, home to beach of soft golden sand, a variety of popular tavernas, laid back beach bars, minimarkets and various local shops.

Many other stunning beaches can be found within a 15 minute drive plus the principal town of the area, Chania, with its beautifully preserved Venetian harbour can be reached in under half an hour. Make a date to take a wander through Chania’s labyrinthine backstreets lined with bazaars, bars and numerous interesting eateries before enjoying dinner by the water’s edge or on a rooftop terrace.
