The hotel itself is nice... new, sleek, etc. The check in was friendly and helpful. But... parking is $42 per night with no options. My room wasn't cleaned. They made the bed but didn't take the trash or dirty laundry.. left the washcloth in the shower and the soap wrapper. I had to use the soap bar because they didn't refill the body wash. The left dishes on the sink and the desk. When I returned the second night, there was a homeless guy screaming on the curb in clear site of the valet and desk and no one was doing anything. I had to go ask them to call authorities.. he looked like a threat. Again, the hotel is very nice but I paid for a clean room and didn't get it.

Great price for uptown Charlotte, NC. The location was excellent and right in the heart uptown. The hotel was very clean. The room was modern and clean. The breakfast was excellent, with real eggs made to order. A great experience!

This was the second time my mom and I stayed at this location and the staff are consistently so very kind and hospitable and helpful. Everyone has a kind and helpful demeanor and the facility is always clean. You really have figured out how to hire the right staff, from those that clean the room to the front desk staff, to the bar/kitchen/breakfast staff to the valet. Everyone was amazing! Kudos!

Did not have any issues other than parking. Parking garage was for somewhere else and $80 a night. Seems everywhere now charges to park now. No rate posted. Used valet parking and needed extra time in am was winked at and told no problem. I ended up moving my vehicle since I had no idea how much they were going to try and bill me. Staff inside was very helpful and like I said, no complaints.
