I was under the impression that I am staying in one of those historical train cart. Then I was told I booked the wrong room. Then all their train rooms were occupied for that night. I ended up staying in a normal bedroom which was very nice. So it was a let down because I did not stay in the room I want to. So double check before you book.

Would probably stay again

We stayed in a train car for my husband’s birthday. The complimentary toiletries are regular sized bottles of shampoo, lotion etc that were opened and used by previous guests. I thought this was odd. We usually bring our own toiletries anyway but we were just staying one night so we’d packed light. Cleanliness was okay, the bed and couch were pristine. The shower looked like it was growing Serratia in some of the grout? at the bottom. We didn't report this because I wasn’t going to shower without unopened toiletries anyway. There were little things like a spot of toothpaste on the bathroom light and dirt/hair in the corner of the floors in the bathroom and in the floor by the bed. The heated floors in the bathroom were nice. The room listing says the rooms are soundproof but I could hear the people beside us talking and it’s not like they were yelling. and of course I could hear kiddos yelling outside but I mean that’s any room, I guess. Check in was easy, staff were wonderful and the property is gorgeous.

Need more lighting

I found the room cozy and clean and enjoyed the large TV and eating area. however I feel the room was too dark, not enough lighting especially bedside. I found myself using my Iphone flashlight to work the tv remote and not able to read bedside because the small lamp on side table did not provide enough light.

Perfect place to stay if you have an event at The Signal. We were able to walk across the parking lot. It was clean and had lots of dining walkable. Would definitely stay here again.

Choo Choo 4 ever

The Chalet has been our go to place to stay in downtown Chatanooga whenever we make our trek from Minneapolis to Florida. Located in an area close to restaurants,a cool coffee shop and some shopping. After a long drive, it is the perfect spot to unwind for a good restful evening in the beautifully appointed rooms,fantastic showers, and super comfortable beds. Will not dissapoint anyone looking to explore Chatanooga!

An excellent Choice in Chattanooga

The staff was friendly and very helpful on information about restaurants close by. The staff was very efficient I checked in very quickly. The only negative about this property was the price of the room and a charge for self-parking.
