This hotel was a joke. Checked in late at night, received room key, the room was used, bed unmade, towels on bathroom floor and tv on, when i returned to desk, no other room offered, the clerks response was to ask someone "who was suppose to clean the room?". Had to go to another hotel!

Don’t skip this hotel!!

We loved our stay. The breakfast is where this hotel shines. My daughter who is only a morning herbal tea drinker was impressed there was something other than black tea. This is now our new monthly hotel when we go for hockey games!

Was unable to access indoor pool until 1 pm. Was traveling with small children and were hoping to use the pool in the morning before checkout. Hotel was run down, outdated, dirty and over priced for what it offered.

Somewhere to stay

Stay was ok. I tried to contact someone at the front desk one night because someone was in the hallway smoking weed but no one answered after several attempts. This made me nervous b/c no one was available, esp. if there was an emergency. The chairs and carpet circle in the lobby is horrible to include the chairs at breakfast. I did not sit down because the furniture is worn and looks uncleaned. the walls are thin so hopefully your neighbors are quite.

This use to be our top place to stay every visit to Virginia. It would be clean and quiet. Over the last few visits it seems like the place is going down. It doesn’t seem as much up kept. They need to remove the carpet from the rooms as im sure they are not being washed and it holds a smell. The bathroom had hair on the floor which was not mine so it made me feel well how clean are the rooms. I already made the decision that this will no longer be my go to hotel as i can see the condition of the rooms and care for hotel changing and not for the besr

The property is shabby. The room was clean but the fixtures are extremely old and falling apart. Paint peeling from the ceiling and walls. Bathroom fixtures were old and barely attached to the walls. Countertop was falling apart. Light fixtures had stained shades. One fixture had no bulbs. TV was very small and had no ability to stream. The smell in the hallway is awful. The pool was out of service. Elevator is old and barely works. TV in the gym doesn’t work. Furniture in the dining area is falling apart. The door to the room had problems. It worked once every two tries. The staff wasn’t friendly. The breakfast was okay but nothing special. The coffee was awful. It smelled like cigarettes. Not very many options. All in all I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

The Hotel is in a good section with lots of food places and the mall. But it needs a renovation. The rooms and appliances are out dated and the lounge for breakfast the furniture is peeling away. If it gets remodeled it will be a nicer place to stay.
