I have pictures that the bathroom was nasty and I have asked for towels. It took them a day and a half to bring me. It was just poorly service and all this money I spent and I thought it was a upscale hotel. It was a trashy hotel.

This Courtyard by Marriott Chicago is located in really convenient area near restaurants, shops and nightlife. It can be a bit noisy as this is the heart of a major city. The rooms are nicely appointed with many amenities and even a mini-frig and microwave! A really good hotel I would certainly visit again.

My room was dirty. Sheets dirty. Found 2 roaches. Told the manager it took them until the next day to clean my sheets. Explained my experience to the manager and he said “ he spoke to his staff and hopes I’ll stay there again”. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The door to the room doesn’t lock properly — someone could easily open it from the outside. The bathroom mirror was dirty, and the bathroom door handle was loose. There was hair on the bed that wasn’t ours, and the TV volume doesn’t work properly. The staff was okay.

When i arrived to the hotel, they told me they were overbooked and sent me to another hotel which was more than half a mile away. It was the marathon’s weekend so i left my car in the parking lot and i had walk with the luggage. The front desk promise to take care of the parking to compensate the inconvenience. The next day after running the marathon i walked back to pick up my car, stopped by at the Courtyard to get the fee paid for the parking, and they did not want to do it. The staff in this hotel is not very helpful, do not care much about the customers. I did my reservations several months in advance.
