Convenient location if you can ignore the filth.

We live in central IL and enjoy occasional weekends in Chicago. We came for a show at Allstate Arena. Staying in the burbs is much less expensive with free, no hassle parking. This hotel was conveniently located and inexpensive. The first floor room was spacious, and there are plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. This hotel is dated, but that’s not a big deal. The room was not very clean. There was one bath towel upon arrival. There were two tv’s, but the remotes didn’t work. The ice machine was leaky, and the room it was in was smelly and moldy. Didn’t trust the ice to be clean. We didn’t use the pool, but it was filthy. There was fast food garbage and hundreds of cigarette butts around nearest entry exit door during our entire stay. We won’t stay here again.

Horrible and by far the worst experiance

Went for a one night stay but the room was okay with a small patio. Bathroom was in okay shape as well with paint peeling off. Shower plumbing knob is also installed wrong. Beds was so beat up that I prefer sleeping on the floor. On top of that our neighboring room was partying kept on partying like for 3-4 hours and then they decided to bang on our door at 3 in the morning. By far the worst experience in the Windy City. Receptionist was nice and apologized for the inconvenience.

I just stayed here and the hotel was ok just a little old but the staff is extremely rude especially Todd. He was banging on my door at 3 in the morning screaming “open up or next is will be the police” once I cracked the door to see what he was talking about he tried to walk in my room as I stood in front the door and said can i help you he said the next know will be the police, I asked what the issue was he said that I need to shut up Im disturbing the other guest. I asked him to be respectful in how he was speaking to me and please dont try to enter the room forcefully and he said you know what your out of here and we and asked the front desk could they tell us to leave and call the police. I then called the front desk and asked what was going on they said there has been complaints and when Todd came to the room no one answered. I told them I did answer thats why imm calling now and the front desk guy said well the police are going to handle it from here. I understand someone letting me know Im too loud however there is a professional way to go about things and him banging on my door and trying to forcefully enter at 3am is the way to go, a phone call would have been the correct method, or sending someone who didnt smell like alcohol and cigarettes.

The hotel clearly has not been renovated in a long time. The shower had drywall patch marks. The air vent in the shower did not work. Terrible water pressure. The corners of carpets surrounding the bed had not been vacuumed in a long time as it was grey with dust. There is absolutely NOTHING to do in the surrounding area whatsoever. It is in an industrial park so I guess that’s a pass. The lobby and hallways were dirty and eerie. Also, there was a person freely smoking pot in their room all weekend long which stunk up the entire hallway and surrounding rooms. Didn’t seem like the staff cared to stop the person or handle the situation. I would not stay here again.
