They checked us into a room someone else was staying in not once but twice. We found out by putting in the code to the rooms and finding peoples’ clothing and suitcase on their beds. This made us uncomfortable and worried about some other people potentially walking in on us. It is a major safety concern. Additionally, the walls are very thin and we could here people in the hallways very clearly and loudly.

The number one thing I would be aware of, is to make sure you know where the parking garages are. There are a few within an easy walk to found. The second thing, if you come in during the evening, you're going to have to get the attention of the person at the desk to let you in because you won't have a room code by that time. The third thing, there's plenty of stores and food within walking distance. This was actually my second time to a microtel, and it was very adorable. I had the bunk beds with a friend, it was just enough room to stay and do what we needed to do which is exactly what we needed. If you happen to be staying more days bring a pan or something to cook but clean up after yourself. It's a nice place and I would totally visit again.
