If your allergic to mold stay away.

Staff was friendly and beds were comfortable but no fans in the bathroom and black mold all over the ceiling.

A very nice hotel. The train station is 200 meters away. There are many restaurants nearby. The beach is a 2-3-minute drive. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is very nice. I definitely recommend it.

It’s one of my favorite places to stay when I come to Chicago for work. I love that you can walk to the beach of Lake Michigan. I wish the restaurant and bar were open for more than just breakfast. The hotel appears to be understaffed.

Pool

The hotel was nice and pretty much as advertised. However, it was advertised as having a pool. One of the reasons we booked the hotel. We were looking forward to it since Chicago had multiple days in the high 90s and heat indexes between 105 to 108. Pool was under repair and blocked from usage.Web site should have reflected that. May have made a different decision.

Constant wind/whistle noise all night. Had huge spider webs on ceiling, curtains in the room. Judging from this, the room has not been cleaned. property looks dated. Staff is excellent, polite and informative. No elevator to top floor of the parking. If you have heavy luggage, use 1st or 2nd fl. Parking.
