The hotel was great! Great location around other amenities. They had a cute little coffee shop within the hotel which provided espressos and snacks. The hotel has a very unique decor - old fashioned. From the main lobby up to the rooms. If you look closely you can catch how things were refurbished. Rooms were comfy and clean. Downfall - the comforters/blankets felt like sand paper. Very uncomfortable. Another negative - I called in for an early check-in. The person over the phone said i would have to do it as a walk in. Okay. Fine. I arrived an hour early to try and do an early check in. They had no rooms cleaned, so they took my name and number down when a room became available. We waited in the coffee shop for over an hour. At this point it was 10min past check in and we were notified that our room still wasn't ready. Luckily a manager came and assisted and either we got a small upgrade or rearraged rooms with someone else to get us in.. im not sure but i guess it all worked out. I also didn't like that there was no close parking unless you want to pay big bucks. We did find a in-and-out parking garage for cheap.

The Lincoln Hotel has a warm & welcoming staff. The hotel entrance has a great Chicago vibe! Our room was spacious & comfortable with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan & the Lincoln Park Zoo!

Great stay in Lincoln Park

Quick stay for my daughter to visit DePaul and have a conservatory audition. Hotel was wonderful; our lake view room had a spectacular view of Lake Michigan, and staff was very helpful. Note that we were charged a $15 “Amenity Fee” on top of what we had prepaid when we booked. That wasn’t a great feeling, but overall the hotel was terrific, with easy access to lots of restaurants and things to do. (Second note: name under which hotel appears in navigation and ride share apps seems variable - definitely not always just “Hotel Lincoln”)

The property is central and a good location and good prices on parking nearby. But every room should have a refrigerator. They all do not when you’re going out to restaurants. You always want to put your leftovers in the refrigerator and keep your drinks cold and there is ongoing renovations that start at 7:30 in the morning and wake you up which is a real bummer the employees are wonderful, however, and do their best.
