Great place

I went to Chicago with my boyfriend to see Jutes at Subterranean. We stayed at the Hyatt in Wicker Park. It was so clean, comfortable and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing. The location was by everything and a great walking distance. The hotel helped make my trip on of the best. Only second to Jutes singing Vertigo acoustically. Which made me tear up from happiness. Chicago has great food and the rooftop of the Hyatt had the best view and delicious food and desserts. I 100% recommend staying here.

The view of the city was spectacular. The Kennedy restaurant and bar was great! Excellent breakfast and a wonderful location. Very nice staff! I highly recommend The Hyatt Wicker Park.

We went for a girls weekend. We enjoyed the rooftop bar. It was march but it had heaters. Valet was convenient and quick. $50 and come and go as much as you please. We walked the neighborhoods nearby the following day and it was safe and beautiful. Would stay again

Great option in Wicker Park

It was a wonderful place to stay. It was nice to have this option in the Wicker Park neighborhood! It was delightful to have the hotel within a short walking distance to The Salt Shed which we came into town to see a concert there. Understandably, only valet parking is an option. Attendants were quick and friendly. Only concern was that housekeeping so very faintly & lightly rapted on our room door at 8am. I was only barely aware it was happening as we were still sleeping and the door opened. Seeing though us guests were still in, they quickly and quietly shut it. I realize we are partially at fault because we had forgotten the Do Not Disturb door sign, but 8 am seemed a bit early for the hotel serving breakfast and its check out time.

One day stay

Everything was excellent from the valet person to the staff we encountered, except for the reception desk person. As soon as we stepped out of the elevator of the 7th floor to check in, this person did not even look up to greet us. When I stepped up to the desk and said hello, this person's expression was not welcoming. We even tried to try to lighten the mood by trying to converse with this person and change this person's demeanor but nothing but annoyance in this person's tone. Lucky for us, our first impression of this hotel was our encounter with the valet person, which again was a very good start. And as I said, other than the recetion desk, everone else that we encountered was also exceptional. As for the room, very nice. Loved tge lityle sitting area. Beds were very comfortable but the pillows, unfortunately, were not. But overall, it was a very nice place to stay. I would higly recommend this hotel.
