Peaceful and stunning waterfront home! Located on a quiet side-street, Heron's Cove features a reverse floor plan with all bedrooms on the first floor, and the main living-level on the second floor. This allows you to capture and maximize the fabulous bay views! The second floor also features a great room with cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace and screened gazebo. In addition, there's multiple open decks and a shared dock (with Egret's Cove) into Little Oyster Bay. There are three bedrooms that each have a king size bed, and one bedroom that has two sets of bunk beds. Each bedroom has a private bath. Luxurious comfort while surrounded by Chincoteague's natural beauty and wildlife! Floor Plan: Downstairs (first level) features 4 bedrooms, all with attached private bathrooms. Two of the downstairs bedrooms and the sitting area have private waterside balconies. Upstairs features an open floor plan with the kitchen, living room and dining area. There is also a full bathroom (shower only) upstairs.

- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. Pet fee is $150 per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.

Great Short Weekend Getaway

House is located in a great area with water views and access to a dock that is excellent for crabbing. Bedrooms are spacious and each with its own bathroom which is very convenient. Even the dogs had their own welcome treat bag for which they were grateful! Easy to communicate with the owners. Will be sure to keep this house on my list for future visits to Chincoteague!

Great rental for families

Bright spacious home with lovely views. It accommodates large families well and is also very suitable for sharing since the bedrooms are comparable and each has its own bathroom. We would rent again.

Great floor plan & area

We enjoyed our stay. The upper floor has a beautiful view and is a super gathering spot while the lower floor has 4 en-suite bedrooms. Worked very well for our group of 7 adults. Location is nice as well. Biking distance to the refuge and an easy walk to a few shops and restaurants.

Overpriced and shady

I’ll say the positive: the house is lovely. I’ll say overall the experience was negative. The cost for this stay was high, which leads me to believe it would be a more upscale experience; however, the nickel and diming, especially in the off season was tacky & felt very shady. I selected linens when booking—and specifically looked for something about fees because this was a first. I had never had a home not provide them. Then, day of, I received an email about not having linens—when I confirmed that we did need them (since we had already left) we were told the fee would be $299. Absolutely ridiculous! We didn’t have much of an option so bad to do that but that out such a bad taste in my mouth for the entire stay. Add insult to injury—the towels were rough and raggy and the sheets were not soft or comfortable. There was then a laundry list of things to do to clean before our departure on top of an envelope to leave a tip for cleaning service?? We paid a linen fee, pet fee, and cleaning fee—there should be no expectation of us cleaning (for a 10am departure) nor an expectation to tip—paying their staff is on the properties responsibility, not ours. I would not recommend this experience namely because if this was the off season I cannot imagine how they’re overcharging in the summer months. Don’t charge luxury prices if you don’t intend to deliver.

Gorgeous winter getaway

Loved the set up of this house-- plenty of privacy when needed and also a wonderful communal space to enjoy the company and scenery. Super close drive to the beach as well.
