Hotel is extremely clean and staff amazing...super friendly and incredibly obliging. Great having kitchen facilities (we were there for 3 nights so it comes in handy having the use of utensils, wine glasses etc. Everything is quality...also great to be able to have Netflix. My only issue was (as we were there for 3 nights), it would've been nice to have a clearer view out of the windows instead into the wall of another building so that we could have our curtains open more. If we'd asked they probably would've moved us...but hey, I didn't so my bag. We love the place and will definitely be staying again. Helen

Perfectly fine for business travellers, not great for couple on tour with two large bags. Room was small and had only one comfortable place to sit. Good location with many places to eat nearby and CBD a 12 min walk. My VIP status was not acknowledged at checkin, but this seems common in NZ hotels in the hotels.com listings. None have done so, and this includes about 10 different places. Biggest problem was a family near our room which allowed their children to play loudly in the hall. Not hotels fault, but be aware this not a very relaxing hotel.

Desk staff were very welcoming. Room is fine and comfortable, though you can hear everything in the hallway. Little breakfast buffet wasn't- anywhere near foodsafe temperature guidelines- I paid for it in the long run...
