John and Wendy are extraordinary super hosts! John's hospitality and kindness began well before we arrived in St. Croix. I chose this VRBO because of John's kind and thoughtful response when I requested to stay here. My emotions were raw due to grief, and his words were kind, comforting, and encouraging. You see, this trip was not an easy one because we were going to St. Croix to bury my mother. But John and Wendy made a lasting impression for us serving not only as hosts but concierge, from helping us reserve a taxi to the property, and friends, who prepared dinner for us for the first night. The lasagna was delicious and thoughtfully made with our diet restrictions in mind. John was easy to talk to and always accessible. He checked on us and sent encouraging messages. The property was clean, comfortable, organized and had everything we needed that it felt like home. The view from the property was breathtaking and allowed me to have a comfortable space each morning for meditation and contemplation, something a grieving person needs. I could not imagine staying anywhere on the island but here. Best of all, he was willing to accommodate a later check out given our circumstance and later flight. I am forever grateful to John and Wendy. by the end of the trip, no one wanted to go home. We came with grieving hearts and left with lifetime friends. We will definitely be back!
