My stay at Candelwood Cincinnati Northeast -Mason went well. Check in was quick and easy. I was a little nervous about my room being on the 1st for/ main level because of the lobby being nearby. But I didn’t hear any noise from foot traffic and my 1 night stay was pretty pleasant. I stayed here for its proximity to the Cincinnati open. It was so great that it was less than 10min drive and there was plenty of shopping/dining all around the property, Whole Foods is literally down the block! I really appreciated that…I chose this location kind of blindly never having been to Ohio and never having stayed at a Candlewood Suites. But it honestly was a perfect location and the hotel room was ok too. Loved that it had a kitchen and dining area. I didn’t need any of that for this quick trip but when I travel w my family next I’ll remember this properly. I’m big on bathrooms at hotels and this one was ok. It was updated a bit so that was a relief..I don’t like seeing hair from previous guests in the shower so that was my biggest ick about the bathroom in addition to how small it was. Bed was comfortable enough..loved that you could control the temp in the room. So overall, would recommend and if I go to the Cincinnati Open again, I’d definitely consider staying again.

Nope not worth it

Close to Kings Island and lots of restaurants, gas stations stores etc. The air conditioning in my first room didn’t work was given another without issue. Second room was on the 6th floor the hallway had a nasty smell but the room smelled even worse and was not completely cleaned from the guest before as there was trash left in the room which may have been the source of the horrible smell. The ice maker in the room didn’t work which sucked as we spent two full days at the amusement park and it would have been nice to have ice available for our water bottles. The lobby is small but clean there is a door to the outside you just go down the hallway by the rooms in the 100s and oh my that hallway smelled like pet urine and bad Body odor. Swimming pool was a nice size bathrooms in the room were super smaller took showers in our water shoes the room was just gross and i felt so uneasy sleeping in there luckily we were barely there but to sleep. Would not recommend yes the location is great but it stops there…..hotel is old outdated and extremely smelly parking is not close at all pay more to stay somewhere else seriously

Our bedroom wasn’t cleaned for the 5 days we were there. No clean towels, beds not made, garbage not empty. Receptionist were rude, uninformed not in the least concerned about customers who in our case were paying $150 to $200 per night as we were there during Cincy tennis tournament. Oh if you were expecting breakfast for these prices. Forget it. No breakfast. Will admit the beds and pillows were very good.

Overall was a great place to stay. It was a different experience as rooms were not cleaned daily unless upon request. There were some loud noises one night thatmay have came from waterpipes...not sure. Beds were really comfy and the shower amenities were generous.

Great service!

The service was excellent! All front desk team members were friendly and helped with everything we needed. The pool was fun and a decent size and the fitness room had enough equipment for a short stay. The room was as expected. It was clean and had everything we needed. The drain in the tub was clogged and this created an issue with showering. We had to wait for the tub to drain before the next person could use it.

Average stay

Hotel had a musty smell in the hallways. The ceiling of first floor had a water leak and it didn't rain. It is a non smoking hotel, however people were smoking in their rooms and you could smell it in ours.
