Located near the Surf Ballroom on a quiet street, our 5 bedroom, 3 bath home has a unique pirate ship loft with a cannon and crow's nest to add a bit of whimsy to your stay. 15 people can sleep comfortably here, making it easy for multiple families or groups of friends to enjoy. The main level has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers to accommodate anyone in your group unable to manage a lot of stairs. The master suite includes a daybed with trundle, and private bathroom with walk-in shower. The third bedroom on the main level is a full over full bunk room. Upstairs is another queen bedroom, loft with 3 twin beds, and bathroom with tub and shower.
The patio and firepit area is set up to host a crowd, and the garage has been finished as another hang out space we call, "The Bungalow". The home itself is situated on a large lot with plenty of space for lawn games and shenanigans. Everything is set back on the lot to offer privacy from neighboring homes.
If you're in town for a Surf Ballroom event, you can easily walk from our door to theirs in just a couple minutes. A bit longer walk, maybe 10 minutes, gets you to the downtown area. If you're here on a Saturday during the summer, the farmer's market is just a block away, and a brand new bowling alley/arcade is also an easy 5 minute stroll. Just across the street are several restaurants, including The Half Moon, an iconic supper club owned by the same family for over 50 years.
We have all the supplies you'll need to enjoy a home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked, making it easy for you to whip up delicious meals. All linens, paper products, soaps, shampoo, hair dryers and fans are provided. Enjoy the convenience of a washer and dryer and 3 smart TVs for all your streaming needs.
Snuggle up in the living room around a fire and watch your favorite movies after a day on the lake, or retreat to the backyard and make s'mores over the firepit.
We've tried to make it easy and furnish all you'll need. Yard games, wagon, stroller, board games, fire wood, beach toys and towels are all there for you to use. Packing your suitcase is truly all you need to do!
The driveway can easily hold your truck and boat trailer, with room for several more cars, so bring the whole crew!

I'd say it's the best place to sray in clear lake. Clos4 to downtown and next to Surf ballroom. The house is very accommodating for a large group of people.

We had a great 3 generation get away at your home. Check in was easy. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the decor. The pirates loft was a big hit with the grandchildren. I was concerned about the loft getting too warm since it was really hot while we were here, but with the fans provided, the loft stayed comfortable. We used the garage as the grandchildren's main craft area. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen since we ate most of our meals at the house besides packing a few lunches for at the beach or on the boat. The house had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, and the space in the kitchen(we used the table leaf and extra chairs) and living room gave us room to play games, do crafts(when it was too hot to be in the garage) and just hang out. There was also plenty of parking for our several vehicles. We plan to stay here again and hope the weather will allow us to enjoy your beautiful shaded patio and nice yard more than we were able to this time. Your home is amazing! Perfect for 8 winter hiking women & kite festival

The house was delightful. Lots of room for socializing, playing cards and feasting after hours of hiking or snowshoeing. Host Sara responded thoughtfully to our 2 text questions immediately. The house was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities our group needed. This would be a great house for a warm season visit with family or friends.

Generational family get away!

What a great space for our family! We loved the decor and details of the property. There were 13 of us including five grandchildren, and our adult children. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and gathering spaces that met all our needs. Great parking space in the driveway for our four vehicles. The 'bonus' gathering space in the garage along with a beautiful outdoor patio gave us lots of areas to gather and spend time together. This home was conveniently located near the beach, parks, and downtown area. We loved it!

Quaint lake life get away!

This property appears to be newly remodeled or very well maintained! CLEAN! The lake/be achy decor was so cute. This house had plenty of towels in each bathroom and hand soap. We brought our own toiletries, shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The layout for the bedrooms worked especially well for our group. My daughter and some friends from her barn competed at the horse show in mason city. everyone had their own room, except for one mom/daughter, and they didn’t mind because they had their own shower/bathroom in their room!! The neighborhood was very nice and safe. Restaurants, bars right across the street and the lake only one block away!! What a truly quaint small town feel! We are hoping to all be able to stay here again!

Homecoming

Our family came together for the celebration of our mom’s life on earth. We were born and raised in Clear Lake and this was the most convenient place to get everywhere, would be perfect when there’s an event at the Surf! Accommodating for all of us and we loved the outdoor space and fire pit. Don’t forget to bring shampoo and conditioner- we went to shower and it was not provided. Other than that it was a perfect place and would stay again. Thank you!

Cousin Gathering

This was a perfect place for our large group of cousins to stay comfortably with the five bedrooms and three bathrooms, plenty of room to gather together inside and outside and all the decorating touches made us feel at home. It was raining, windy and cool during our stay so we made use of the garage too. We walked over to the Supper Club for dinner just across the street.

Perfect location for bands at the Surf

Super cute home close to the Surf. We attended a band on New Year's Eve and had a quick walk to the Surf from there. It was decorated so cute for the holidays! We had 14, so were not able to sleep all of them there unfortunately, as the one room was supposed to have 2 twin beds with a queen, but only had one. One of the couples had family in Clear Lake and was able to stay with them. I would definitely recommend this house for a Clear Lake stay and will definitely be renting this again in the future. The property manager was awesome to work with and was even able to let us check in earlier and stay later.
