I guess the hotel is being renovated but that’s literally all it should’ve been. It shouldn’t be accepting customers for stays at all it’s a very old hotel! My room reeked of cigarettes & the dust was insane!!

Definitely was nothing like the pictures but it was fine for 2 nights. Highly recommend if you plan on showering start it a few minutes prior to get warm water! The staff was super kind.

First of all the entire place is under construction which would have been nice to know before booking.. the grounds were not kept and it looked like an abandoned building.. everything in the room was broken, drawers broken, fridge didn’t work; and the smell was awful it smelled so musty. Construction workers were outside my window drilling at 8AM .. so disappointed in this stay

Awful experience!!! Do not stay.

The entire hotel was falling apart under construction. The gym and pool were closed. Everything was falling down. I stepped on a nail walking around the hotel. The baloney was covered in construction stuff falling off the hotel. Very unsafe. The room smelled disgusting. The ice maker didn’t work. Stains all over carpet in room.

The hotel is under construction but they put us in a room where there is dry wall exposed and over all the room is dirty. They also have screwed the curtains to the wall and not on a curtain rod either so you can’t open or close them.

Didn’t know the hotel was under new management and construction. I think we were only ones on the whole floor. I think they should warn ppl about construction ppl ahead of time. As the man on scaffold will be able to see ppl as he is on that machine. Will not be coming back at all!

Horrible !!

This place looked like it was closed down, grass overgrown, parking lot had glass and trash all over. It was under construction! I walked in and wasn't sure if I was in the right place. They ran out of my room I requested so they upgraded or should I say downgraded me to a suite. the suite 436 was horrible! very dirty/dusty, the balcony windows had bird poop all over it and the balcony roof was falling down, walking around the room I stuck to the floor, the fridge stunk and had sticky stuff on the handle. the Hotel should be closed down until it is remodeled and cleaned.

I assume the hotel is under construction, because there is no way that anyone would stay in a place that looks like it was a surviving building in an apocalypse. The pictures on Expedia, are 100% wrong, old, or just from another location, because that is why I chose the hotel... until I saw it up close and could not believe I was being sent to stay at a place like this. It looked abandon. My husband convinced me to approach the door that I thought was not going to open. But we went in, and the young woman at the front desk was nice, gave us our room keys and when we got there, we had to turn around. It was supposed to be a non smoking room and it reeked in the hallway. The room stank like stale cigars and it was dirty. We did not stay. It was a very creepy experience. Please don't lie to the public.

Hotel RL is an older, well-used property. In its day it was stellar. That is part of its charm. Staying in a hotel so many people have enjoyed staying in. It is currently under renovation and will be becoming a Holiday Inn property. The location is amazing; close to 480, mall, Walmart, Red Robin and a ton of other restaurants. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The staff was excellent!

I’ve never stayed at this location but I was traveling an booked a reservation online paid for it an all I got the email for the confirmation for my reservation an I noticed the date was wrong which I know I put the date for the 17th an here the date was 16th last night so when I noticed I contacted the booking agent an he told me that the hotel was not refunding my money nor changing the date an marked my reservation as a no show so for that I will never reserve an online reservation due to no matter what you will never get refunded

At first I did not think it was even open, renovation is still going on, the building looked like it was abandoned for months and looks like they just reopened. The room was old and average, the bed sheets had hairs on them, and the pillows didn't smell washed, like someone had just slept on them the night prior.

This property is under construction. Nothing online was correct. We had no choice but to stay because we would have our money. The hotel said they couldn't do anything for us. We had to stay elsewhere after the 2 days we had endure. My wife was scared especially they called us to move our car, which was in the parking lot of the hotel because they were in a construction zone. The manager from red Robin offered us appetizers after he realized that we're were actually paying to stay there. The worst experience ever!!We were mislead by the advertising that your website showed.
