The house is fantastic, the host was very quick to communicate. Direct beach access was awesome and there were plenty of terrific food options within a short 10 minute drive. We will definitely be booking here again in the future.

When picking places to stay at pet friendly and nice comfortable looking clean properties are a priority. This met that and then some. We also wanted to be on the beach, and this doesn't disappoint! Beautiful views and we always love a gas fireplace, especially our fur baby. If you're bringing your fur baby bring a flashlight for those nightly potty breaks. Even with lights on at the property its pitch black out there! A little scary but just bring your own good bright flashlight so you can all see what's in front of you at night to make things easier. It's nice to get out of the busy city and this lovely home helped us to relax. We definitely want to comeback when we get some more free time.

Kraken's Candle exceeded our expectations! The home is beautiful and accomodated our group perfectly with ample space and bathrooms. The beach access is easy to navigate and we enjoyed hours of idle roaming and wave gazing. We would definitely stay again! Hosts were responsive and check in and out was a breeze.

We had a wonderful stay at Kraken’s Candle! The views from the living room, dining room, and main bedroom were fantastic. The 6 of us enjoyed watching the intense rain storm and the extreme highs & lows of the king tides. The house was very well equipped and beautifully decorated. We would definitely recommend Kraken’s Candle!

Great getaway!

This is a great house! Plenty of room for our large family to gather together and have space apart. Beds were comfortable! They provided wood and the wood fireplace was a lovely amenity to come back to after a wet walk on the beach (October in Oregon coast :). The views out the living room are just breath taking and this stretch of beach is one of the few you can find times when there seems like no one at all but you on the beach. Hosts were very responsive! We ran out of propane grilling and they brought more in 10 minutes!! We cook a lot and if that’s your jam maybe bring your own knives but otherwise can’t say anything but wonderful things about this place and the hosts!

Just what we needed

The house is fantastic, the beach gorgeous and easy to get to and enjoy from the incredible deck, and the rental experience was easy peasy. We will definitely be back!
