At this roomy 4BR home in funky, walkable Weinland Park, you’ll be right in the city’s creative core and just a short stroll from OSU, downtown, and the Short North. Walk to tacos, night markets, or football games—then come home to wind down with cornhole, darts, or drinks by the fire pit under the string lights.

*January 2025 Update* We removed the garage and now have 3 offstreet parking spots behind the back fence.

The home offers both indoor and outdoor space to enjoy time with family and friends. Kid and pet friendly home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cookware needed for your stay. Prefer to grill? We also provide a large propane grill for your convenience! The living room has a large TV and there is a second TV in the game room. The game room also has darts and a game table that converts into a foosball, air hockey or pool table. Outside is private and fully fenced. There is a fire pit with plenty of seating as well as a cornhole set in the yard. Just 12 minutes from the airport, 5 mins from the Convention Center, and walking distance to Ohio State University and downtown Columbus.

You’ll have full access to the whole house, fenced yard, and game room. Entry through front or rear door using a provided code.

Weinland Park is Centrally located between OSU Campus and Downtown Columbus. We`re minutes from the Short North, Fairgrounds, OSU Stadium and the Convention Center.

Walk to campus or the Short North. Uber or drive 5–10 mins to downtown, the convention center, German Village, and beer gardens.

Had a great time at the house...was close proximity and easy to get to and from campus as well as the ShortNorth entertainment district, loved relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch and enjoying family dinner in the spacious open kitchen. Comfortable bedding too!

The host made it easy!

This adorable house was the perfect location for our one-night stay in Columbus. We were there for a very sad reason: our beloved brother-in-law/uncle was in hospice and we were there to say goodbye. It is a rare VRBO that doesn’t have a list of to-dos before checkout. But the 5th Street Retreat messaged me that we didn’t need to do a thing as we were leaving. I can imagine staying at this property for football weekends or visiting your kids at OSU

Perfect

A super cute house! Clean and nicely decorated. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. My boyfriend and I were in town for a tour of Echo Distillery. The house was big enough for all 6 of us for the weekend. Great location too! Close to lots of bars and restaurants … and a Kroger.The listing said there’s a garage, but we couldn’t find it. Not a big deal though. There is parking for two cars in the alley behind the house, and on street parking in the front.

Hockey tournament at the Fairgrounds

Rented this property since it was pretty close to the arena and it was fantastic...close to good food, just outside the city and near the campus. Safe area with the option of back alley parking or front street which was always available.the host answered questions quickly and was helpful with area recommendations.....overall great time and great house

This house was so cute. It was well stocked with everthing you need. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We enjoyed our stay amd would consider it again. The host was great to work with. Centrally located to a lot of Columbus attractions.

Nice place

On a 1-10 I give it an 8. What would make it a 10? ( I stay at a lot of vrbos)-fix fridge ice/water dispenser, put tissue box in restrooms, put hooks in bathroom for towels, robes, clothes, put dresser or tables in bedrooms to put stuff on, get a colander in kitchen, add some wine glasses.

Halfway meeting place for the Holiday

Overall, we had a good stay. Would have liked more seating in the main room, as we were 6 adults and 2 dogs staying there. The backyard is nice, though someone went out with the dogs every time as there were several gaps in the fence that a skinny wiggly 40 lb dog could slip through. Several low maintenance tasks were noted and mainly did not interfere with our fun. Quiet neighborhood near plenty of places. Thanks for the hospitality.

Bought us a pack n play

Drove in from chicago for a family party. Loved the centralized location of the house and the very comfy beds. Traveled with my 3 year old and 11 moth old. House was suppose to supply us with a pack n play but apparently it was missing so the home owner went and bought us a new pack n play to use for the stay. We greatly appreciate this. Thanks for being such great hosts.

Weekend trip

A group of 4 of us stayed here while competing in a curling tournament. The house served our needs well. The listing might indicate that the games room is actually also the fourth bedroom but it wasn’t a big deal as we all found the accommodations comfortable.

Great house for OSU football

Clean property with plenty of room. Owner was responsive and checked on us during our stay, even letting us check in early. Only critique would be the fourth bedroom on listing is actually a basement with a trundle bed. Great location to walk to campus and bars/restaurants in North Short District. Would highly recommend a stay here!
