This was the second time we stayed at the Opal Inn. The room was not as nice as the first time but we were able to check in early. No natural light in the room as the window was boarded up. Huge gum tree outside the room that was full of cockatoos from 4.30am; big mess all over the car. Bistro was excellent with a free drink and 15% off the meal.

Half drunk cup of coffee in the Coffee Cupboard was disappointing. Poor Housekeeping! I was told that I could park at my door. So wrong, I had to park about 30 metres away. Cupboard door had a broken hinge. The Bathroom window winder would not close the window. Air conditioning, Netflix & Bed were good Shower was hot. Birds, cockatoos I think, in a tree on the property were very loud for most of my stay.

It was centrally located which was great. Limited amenities in the room a toaster would of been great for an early start breakfast or microwave.

This place was clean and very spacious. Walkable to good eateries including its own bistro. Can walk into town . Staff were very friendly. Couldve done with a microwave . But was very quiet room .
