Upea sijainti, uusi mökki lähellä Jäätikön kansallispuistoa

Tule yöpymään mökillämme, vain 7 mailin päässä Glacierin kansallispuiston sisäänkäynnistä! Olemme kätevällä paikalla Coramissa, Montanassa, 200 metrin päässä lähimmästä vaelluksesta tai suksesta, yhdellä alueen parhaista maastopyöräreiteillä (ja tarpeeksi lähellä ravintolaa ja pubia kävelemään - jopa pitkän päivän jälkeen puistossa) . Kaksi mailia tiellä on lähin päivittäistavarakauppa, samoin kuin Hungry Horse Reservoir, loistava paikka veneilyyn, kalastukseen ja pihlajanmarjaukseen. Viehättävässä mökissä on tilava parvi, jossa on queen-size-vuode, ja siihen pääsee jyrkällä portaikolla (tikkaat). Niille, jotka eivät halua nukkua parvella, olohuoneessa on myös queen-size-futon-sänky alakerrassa. Saatavilla on täydellinen keittiö (liesi / uuni, mikroaaltouuni, pesuallas, astianpesukone), jota yritämme pitää varustettuna peruselintarvikkeilla.
Nauti auringonlaskusta Teakettle-vuoren takana ulkona peitetyltä kuistilta, palo-kuopasta tai ota viimeinen valo sisälle monien länsimaisten ikkunoiden läpi. Mökistä on loistava pääsy ympäri vuoden, vain 100 metrin päässä moottoritieltä 2. Sinänsä moottoritien (ja hieman yli neljänneksen mailin päässä olevan rautatien) äänet voidaan kuulla. Noita ääniä kuitenkin korvataan enemmän kuin läheisyys Glacierin kansallispuistoon. Aivan tiellä on Stonefly Lounge, josta voit kuunnella elävää musiikkia useimpina kesäviikonloppuiltaisin, ja vieressä on Glacier-ritilä, jossa voit tarttua purra syödäksesi. Tien toisella puolella on Glacier Highline, luonnollinen seikkailupuisto, jossa on vetoketjuja ja muuta hauskaa toimintaa lapsille. Kävele vielä noin sata jaardia ja saat matkan Coramin omaan viskin tislaamoon, jossa voit maistaa hiukan Glacierin historiasta (kysy muista Josephine Doodyn tarina, jos näytteistät kuuhiiriä!).
Tärkein nähtävyys on tietysti puisto! Omistajalla on ja työskentelee puiston parissa eri tehtävissä (Park Ranger, opas, biologi jne.) Ja heillä on valtava määrä tietoa siitä. Mökissä on perusvaellustarpeita, samoin karhu-suihke, kartat, ehdotukset. Löytö on todella paljon - jos sinulla on kysyttävää jostakin erityisestä, kysy omistajia kirjeenvaihdossa. Vaellamme, lautta, kalaa, pyöräilemme ja poimimme marjoja ympäri aluetta, ja me mielellämme päästämme sinut mukaan muutamiin salaisuuksiin.

this is perfect spot to jump to GNP everyday and Whitefish If you require WI-FI it is not very reliable. If you don't need that this is perfect place.

Mountain cabin

Stayed here off VRBO for our anniversary. Listing says WiFi- it was very very very spotty. We came in when they were doing pre evacuations due to fires- owner never mentioned this to us. We were coughing and congested for most of the trip. The smoke was heavy and we had ash on our car. Thankfully we do not have medical respiratory issues. Upon arriving, the cabin was dusty (main light fixture, top of fridge, book shelf, etc...) and the sliding door had dog or kid prints on it. The bathroom has a busted and faded bottle of hand soap. I appreciated they had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and sunscreen. The weeds/ grass needs to be maintained and trimmed. The door was difficult to lock from the inside and outside every day, 7 days worth. Like it took 10 minutes on average to lock it. I now know why they had a piece of wood on the inside of the door, as a way to somewhat secure the door if you couldn't lock it once inside. This was the most irritating thing, more than the way spotty WiFi. It's nice to know my things are secure if I am away. I contacted the owner about the door lock, they said they ordered a replacement. Past reviews show this complaint too. Suggestions to add a microwave, TV with DVD's, window or portable AC, and board games. We heard the train pass by numerous times at night- got used to it. The cabin was cute otherwise and served it's purpose.

Cozy spot, we loved it!

We had a group of 4 and we found the place very accommodating and spacious. We appreciated the book recommendations and the other informational resources. The only issue we had was the wifi was not working when we were there. Thankfully cell service was decent in the area.

Great base for visiting GNP! Cabin is well-equipped and cozy. Grill & picnic table also nice to have. If you are a light sleeper, definitely turn on the air purifier or bring a fan and/or ear plugs. Lots of hiking info provided by the owners.

cozy cabin

this small home is fine for ideal location near the park. very few amenities- no space to unpack, no microwave, loft ladder is super steep & home is hot during the day. But clean with nice shower and standard kitchen supplies. The neighborhood is noisy- railroad, loud trucks, barking dogs but owners have supplied lots of useful hiking information & that's what this vacation home is all about.

Adventure Base

Pictures do not do this cabin justice - it is immaculate and very cozy! My 6’9 husband didn’t bump his head on anything, yay! Kitchen is stocked with oils and spices! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HIKING/AREA GUIDE BOOK! It really helped us out! Treat this place as a base and expect noise. The location to GNP Entrance is fantastic (6 mins,) however because there is no AC you need to leave the windows open. This is problematic at night with the trains working at night. We opened the windows early in the day so it could cool down, and muted the sound with a fan and shut windows and slept great.

Close to the Park, near Elk Ranch

So nice to be a short drive from the Park entrance. Reminded me of some places I’ve stayed in the Dolomites or Switzerland. Heater was needed on 19 degree morns, and worked well! HOT water. HOT. Overall, tranquil and well-constructed. Trains can be a bit loud, but may subside as the port transportation issues are resolved.

My daughter slept in the loft and I slept on the futon. We got there late and wanted to go right to bed. The bedding for the futon was in two boxes underneath. It included a puff, a blanket, and two pillows but no sheets and no pillowcases. I was disgusted. The pillow had yellow stains on it. I stuffed it inside a clean shirt. All the neighbors have dogs. One in particular sounds like they have a pack of dogs. And they let them outside at all hours of the day and night where they fight and bark. Woken up from a sound sleep both nights and impossible to take a nap during the day. We ended up leaving a day early. You can’t get in touch with the landlord to complain because there is no WiFi. Also, no fire pit, as promised. There was a note tacked up saying it was because of dry conditions, however, we had a fire pit everywhere else we rented. And they don’t mow the lawn.

Close to West Glacier and to Columbia Falls and Whitefish. The nearby Glacier Grill had good food, and the Stonefly had cold drinks after long hikes.

Awesome basecamp for Glacier

Location in relation to the park helped us get a good head start at the beginning of each day. Communication with Nate was exceptional. If not for him informing us, early on, of the the park’s ticketed entry process, we may have never known. Awesome, cozy, basecamp close to the park!!

Get Away for Two

Great place with great location!

All was terrific! Property was private and secluded with great outdoor space and terrific access to all places in the GNP region. Amenities at the cabin were perfect especially the grill, picnic table and firepit. Great bathroom with lots of hot water and strong shower. Walked to restaurants. Just lovely.

Cabin outside Glacier Nat'l Park

Good little cabin fairly close to Glacier. We were concerned that the sleeping loft might cause us problems as there wasn't much of a railing but it turned out okay. Host was accessible when I had a question.

Cute cabin but outside needed some care.

The outside was very grown up and made us a tad concerned about potential for snakes. Outside trash cans were so full from before we arrived we could not put the lid on the cans once we added the one bag we had from out stay. Other than that, the cabin was great for what we needed. Really hope that more care will be taken in the future to keep the grass and weeds under control.

We stayed for a few nights on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. Wished we could have stayed longer! Everything was clean and perfect. Very nice and cozy place. Very good location as well!! Will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend this rental.

This cute little cabin was perfect for visiting Glacier. It was very close to the park. The owners were extremely responsive and recommended some wonderful hikes. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!
