Won't stay again

The 1st room given us had some trash on the floor & hair on the bed. The 2nd room & actually all over smelled like mold. We loved the spaciousness of the room and bathroom. However there needs lot of updates. Also all 3 mornings we ate breakfast it was quite dirty. Just complimentary carbs foods with instant cooked eggs. You get what you pay for.

Rooms have gone down, broken hairdryer, soap dispenser on floor, refrigerator dirty. Doors of dining area very dirty stayed that way never cleaned while we were here On positive note all staff we encountered with were great. All accommodating with all our needs. Just time to spend a little money on the place and cleaned it up some.

We enjoyed our stay . Very peaceful, restful. There needs to be blankets or quilts if it’s chilly we kind of froze we adjusted the AC but needed extra blankets in the room . The mattress wasn’t as comfortable as I’ve experienced here last time there was no box spring just a tin can base that was making noises as we got in and off the bed. We don’t like the new metal /tim base of the bed it’s not comfy or restful it seems like a cheap remedy to replacing the frame and box spring I’m not a fan . The rest was nice and especially the breakfast it’s so lovely to have a breakfast with healthy protein options Thats a huge plus

The pictures online looks great. The room was subpar, mattresses were horrible. Any time someone in the room above us walked, ran, jumped on furniture we heard it

Needs a little TLC

An older motel in need of a little TLC. Check in was fine. Breakfast was ok... Waffles were great... Coffee was watery and weak. They were working on deck and walkways. Hot tub was warm...not hot. Pool is painted a funny looking dark green... not the usual blue color. A non working ice machine and tankless hot water heater just sitting next to the only working ice machine...not attractive. Room in need of some updating. Mildew in the shower... caulking around shower needs to be replaced.

It was just okay

This was our second time staying at the Plantation. It was just "ok" for us. The room wasn't so bad, but it definately needs some upgrades. The walls are super thin, we could hear the couple beside us and stomping above us..not ideal. The breakfast had the potential to be good but it was cold and lacking. The hotel is working on painting, and it caused the pool to be completely closed for one of the days we stayed.

Used to be a fun little place.

I paid for a downstairs room due to back problems. Got there and they said that they were all taken even though we checked in at three and check in was supposed to be at four so they give us an upstairs and I told them we could not take the upstairs due to our backs with our sciatica nerve in operations and they said there was no downstairs available. Next morning we get up to go to breakfast And there was six downstairs available. They were empty. Breakfast was gross. Watered down scrambled eggs. They’re putting water in the orange juice. It was watered down as well. This used to be our favorite place. Will no longer stay there again. The coffees they had for the rooms were disgusting as well. Only the good thing about it rooms were Clean except for the sticky floors..
