I booked this room with Seaside because of the reviews, but I’m thinking those are false generated reviews based on my experience. No sooner than we put our bags down and sat down on the bed looked up, saw 2 to 3 roaches climbing on the wall. The toilet paper is one ply the air conditioner made loud noises throughout the night, but other than it was quiet and peaceful, and very close to the beach.

We loved our stay! The location couldn’t be better, right at the beach access and just a short walk from restaurants and shops in town. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, truly going above and beyond to make sure we had a great visit. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and even had a full kitchen, which was a pleasant surprise. We’ll definitely be back!

Our room was very clean and spacious. It also had a kitchenette that is very useful when you don’t want to eat out every day. We didn’t, since we were in Port Aransas only for three days, but we will plan to bring our pots and pans and buy groceries if we stay longer next time. The hotel is currently going through some renovations, the breakfast room is being rebuilt, so no warm breakfast available at the moment. The water smells very strongly like sulphur, a normal occurrence in Port Aransas, and it’s ok for showers but I suggest buying drinking water. The beach view is only seen from the third floor common balcony, so it’s not really important which room you book. There is no elevator, only stairs, so if you have mobility issues make sure you book a first floor room. Nancy, the hotel manager, was really nice and suggested us few great restaurants to try in the area. We love this hotel because it’s located in a quiet area and accessible to the beach, we can’t wait to be back for another relaxing getaway weekend.

Beware the bait and switch of this motel. The pictures are not accurate. This motel was poorly constructed and the room had multiple problems. 1st the entire front of the motel is gone and being "remodeled". The room floor was old and stained. All towels and bedsheets were stained and very old. There was no shelf in the shower so no where to put your soap except the floor or back of the toilet. Our key stopped working by 6am on our check out day and we couldnt get back in because the office was closed until 8. They had a number to call and thankfully someone was on site to come unlock the door with a master key. Parking is extremely tight. Overall I felt like the pictures lied about how nice the place was. Positives were direct access to the beach and relatively friendly staff. However, we won't be staying here again.
