We got the "last available king room" on a Saturday night. We checked in at 9:40 p.m. The room was underground and felt like it. The floor, somehow seemed horrible. No carpet, hard dark and dirty. The floor at least should have been mopped. My socks were SO dirty after walking around! At 4 a.m. we were awakened abruptly, by loud clomping in the room above us. It stopped for about 15 minutes and then resumed, so I could not sleep. The room just appeared kind of dingy from age and some lack of maintenance. Actually, we were VERY surprised, as we always choose Best Western for lodging, because of their great reputation and consistancy. The folks at the front desk, however, were amazing, They were very professional and helpful. We were surprised that the room we ended up with that night was charged at the regular rate. They refunded us about 1/3 of our bill. We still love Best Western, but my suggestion is to charge a reduced rate for the "dungeon" rooms or give them a facelift at least!

Courteous staff, clean room, mediocre breakfast. Woke up to a fire alarm in the early morning hours. Bathroom fans in neighboring rooms were extremely loud and could be heard between the walls. The rooms were fairly small overall. Check in and check out was very easy. The indoor pool was a huge perk for the kids. Located close to I-5 which made for convenient travel.
