Welcome to the Quail Cabin at Quail Crossing, a cozy mountain escape tucked on 7 private acres just 30 minutes from Yosemite’s Highway 120 entrance. This cabin is warm, peaceful, and made for couples or solo travelers who want to relax and enjoy nature with a touch of modern comfort.
Inside, you’ll find 720 square feet of open living space with one bedroom, one bathroom, and a great-room design that feels bright and inviting. Curl up by the gas fireplace, sip your morning coffee, and watch the trees sway outside your window.
Stay connected with Starlink Internet offering download speeds near 100 Mbps and uploads between 5 and 20 Mbps. Stream your favorite shows, share photos, or work remotely with ease. Cell reception can fade during your drive here, but once you arrive, Wi-Fi calling works perfectly.
The Quail Cabin is part of the Estate at Quail Crossing, a boutique resort property that includes two homes: the Cedar Lodge and the Quail Cabin. They sit over 100 yards apart, giving you plenty of privacy and quiet.
👉Important note: Quail Crossing features several resort-style amenities that may be shared with other guests when the Lodge and Cabin are booked separately. These shared amenities include the horseshoes, cowboy pool, bocce court, game room, and private movie screening room.
The outdoor amenities (horseshoes, cowboy pool, and bocce court) are set about 50–75 yards from both the Lodge and the Cabin. The game room and movie screening room are located in our Stone Cottage, a separate building about 30 feet from the Cabin and roughly 100 yards from the Lodge.

You’ll also have a full bathroom with a deep soaking tub and shower combo, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Yosemite. Inside, you’ll find a 110-inch projection screen for movie nights, a full arcade cabinet loaded with over 10,000 retro games, plus foosball and air hockey tables. It’s the perfect place to relax, play, and unwind after a long day outdoors.
Three-Hole Mini Putting Green: Practice your swing or challenge friends to a friendly round on the green, surrounded by tall pines and mountain air.

Residing in the high country just outside Yosemite National Park, Quail Crossing shares the region`s astonishing beauty. This retreat rests atop a small rise overlooking the glacier-carved Wagner Valley. Wagner Ridge rises opposite and above the meadowed valley floor sheltering this peaceful, bucolic setting.
The estate is located in Coulterville, CA which Reader’s Digest just rated as the “Nicest place in America.”
Yosemite National Park is 24 mi away (about a 30 min drive). Groveland is a 20 min drive and offers a quaint Sierra town with cute shops,
restaurants, and the Iron Door Saloon (the oldest bar in California).
At Quail Crossing, meadowlands and farmlands of the valley are framed by forests of ponderosa pines and black oak. Guests won`t see neighbors--unless they are transported by wings or four legs. Wildlife abounds.
Rush hour is not heard anywhere near this refuge. Do, however, expect the sound of wind whispering through trees--known as psithurism. Guests will search again for that word when posting pictures of this unforgettable property.
Cell phone reception is limited at the property and surrounding areas offering its guests the opportunity to truly escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Please plan to use our satellite wifi for placing cell phone calls and accessing the internet. Inclement weather such as snow and rain can affect internet access. The property is self sufficient with gas generators programmed to automatically power the home when outside power gets cut-off.
Outdoor activities abound in and around Quail Crossing at Yosemite.
The property faces a lovely country road and pastures which are a delight to walk or bike down as you encounter flocks of wild turkey, cattle, deer, bobcats, and foxes. Care to go for a hike? Head out and explore the Stanislaus National Forest which abuts the East side of the property.
In winter months, take in the snow dusted trees, meadows, and waterfalls around near the property and in Yosemite National Park. Cross Country skiing and sledding is available nearby at Gin Flat just off of Hwy 120. Skiing is availble at Dodge Ridge located 66 miles from the home or Badger Pass 58.
In more temperate months, take in beautiful water features at nearby Rainbow Pools or Diana Falls or white water raft down the Tuolumne River.
Discover a plethora of road and mountain biking options right out the front door or in nearby Groveland.
Fishing opportunities abound at the nearby Tuolumne or Merced Rivers or Lake Don Pedro or Lake McClure.
If hunting is your passion, the Stanislaus Forest, which abuts our property, offers deer hunting when in season.
Geologists and gold prospectors will delight in searching for gold and other precious minerals in this High Sierra Gold Country.
Quail Crossing is located just 24 miles from the west gate of Yosemite National Park via Highway 120. Ample paved drives and walks lead to structures and parking throughout the 7.5 acre property.
You will need a car to access the property. No public transportation is available.
