Beautiful location surrounded by lovely gardens

This was our second time staying at this location. I love it. There is an easy walk along the waterfront and several areas around the property to enjoy the view and relax. The host is lovely and very accommodating!

Beautiful, serene place close to everything

What a beautiful place to stay in a virtual paradise of flowers and plants, right on the water! The location was perfect, close to many towns, biking and had a walking trail in front of the property. I easily made some simple meals in the very clean and new kitchen to enjoy on the patio area overlooking the water. The host was very kind , as was Cleo, and I would stay there again anytime!

Comox Valley retreat

We had a lovely spring break getaway to Vancouver Island. Kate’s suite had everything we needed for our stay. Close to town and biking but it feels like you are in the country. Backs onto water and walking trail. My dog Chloe loved it also and enjoyed Kate’s dog Cleo. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful oceanside, dog friendly property

We really enjoyed our stay and so did our dog! It is a very spacious, clean and well designed suite. It had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. One of the features we enjoyed the most was the view of the ocean and the ability to walk from the property onto an oceanside trail, very convenient to walk our dog!

The independent suite is new, immaculately clean with a living room and full kitchen and very comfortable king-size bed with a good choice of pillows. Stepping out the door and crossing the back yard takes you to a nice walking path by the water along the salt marches and to the remnants of an old logging terminal where a train would cross a tresle bridge onto a pier to allow logs to be dumped into the bay where the boom crews boomed the logs for the tugboats to tow the logs across the Straight of Georgia to Fraser Mills at New Westminster. An interesting history from the early 1900s.

As the property owner Kate checked us in promptly, toured us around her beautiful property, and even had us help ourselves to champagne grapes growing in her yard. Our unit was comfortable, clean and very well located with beach views and wonderful walking path directly out front. We hope to return next year.

A Beautiful Rural Retreat in the Countryside

This is a great property! Quiet, beautiful setting, easy access to both Courtney and Comox, right on the Royston Trail. We loved it! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen while small but had everything you need and the whole unit was very clean and tidy! And our dog Charlie loved it too. We would most definitely stay again!

Absolutely everything was provided for in Kate’s new rental suite. We just put our bags down, made a cup of tea, and sat and enjoyed our gorgeous view of the Scottish garden and the Salish Sea beyond. This is the perfect place for relaxation after taking in the many walks, hikes and nearby activities of the Comox Valley. Beautiful grounds. Lovely host, Kate. Very friendly and welcoming. The suite was very clean and had everything one needs when away from home. A wonderful path is along the front of the house where it meets the ocean. We absolutely loved our stay at Kate's beautiful house. She was extremely welcoming and we had everything we needed and more! Stunning spot right by the water with a path at the end of the garden leading to lots of walks. Great biking, great location, we loved it all. Kate also has a gorgeous dog called Cleo who my son loved. We will definitely be back - thank you Kate!
