Sissinghurst Castle and Garden, created by poet and writer Vita Sackville-West and the market town of Cranbrook, are within a 5-mile drive, with Cranbrook offering a fine selection of independent shops and cafes. Tenterden, known locally as the "Jewel in the Weald", has many shops and eateries and the Kent and East Sussex Railway, where you can hop on a steam train and enjoy the scenery. There are local vineyards offering tours and tastings locally and if you’re looking for a sandy beach, head for Camber Sands, 18 miles away, with its 7 miles of golden sands. Historic Rye with its famous cobbled streets, is a 15-mile drive and is an excellent location for some antique shopping and it also has a digital Kino cinema.


This property has been tastefully furnished with comfort in mind whilst retaining many features including original beams and brick-work flooring.
