The place was cheap - in every sense of the word. The flooring was updated, but there was mold on the walls around the shower. Curtains didn't do a great job of blocking out light. It's fine for a cheap place to crash.

Started bad from the start. Went to check in and person at front desk asked me to step out so he could have a private phone call. Overall, I did not feel comfortable that I took my family here.

Bike bag and bike lights were stolen off the back of our truck ovenight.. truck was backed un right in front of the room.

Parking was easy, but not really secure. Room was really noisy, right outside front office on ground floor, next to ice machine. People talking right outside the door, and carts and people walking on the walkway overhead.

Nice rooms, friendly staff. Location is right across the street from the ocean. There's a great little dinner (Elise's) right around the corner, and a Tesla supercharger is a block away. Area around the motel doesn't feel the safest (but isn't awful), but their parking lot is well lit with lots of security cameras.

At first I was unsure of this place. There was quite a lot of road noise and the guests above me were also loud during my first night. But I simply talked to the manager and he was so kind and let me change rooms and I slept so much better. My advice is to ask for a room on the top floor if possible if you’re a light sleeper.
