Was passing through with my dog on a road trip for one night. Checked in with the owner who explained they have cleaned up the place and painted and it looked nice. He said that they were going to now renovate the rooms for next summer, but my room was nich just like it was. For a motel, this was very nice and well done. The owner obviously take great care of the place.

This place was extremely noisy from traffic and it sounded like the people in the room above were line dancing all night. The beds were as basic and uncomfortable as they come. If you’re just looking for a place to lay your head down for the night, then it works. If you’re looking for comfort, this isn’t it. Shower stall is tiny, and the quality of everything (TP, linens, towels) was terrible.

The room was spotless and modern. It was much bigger than we expected. The beds were comfortable with good bedding. There was a couch and a little kitchenette area with a sink and counter, microwave, and mini fridge. It was right across the street from a little beach. Perfect place to stop for the night on our road trip down the coast. The front desk staff was very friendly. There is no breakfast or anything like that, just a basic hotel, but updated to look really nice.

Lots of homeless in the area. "Hotel" sits on a very busy corner with a stoplight so you get to listen to semi's downshift and Harleys brapping at top volume. Pretty ridiculous for $200/night.

The staff was nice enough, but they didn't tell me about their pet fee and they charged me double ($20) even though I only had one dog. The room wasn't soundproofed at all... road noise was high and noise from other guests around and above us was constant. The bed was horrible. It felt like I was sleeping on a plywood sheet and the pillows were dreadful. The shower was dirty (someone else's hair all over) and the fridge hadn't been cleaned out.

Good location, poor room.

Our room needed a lot of work. Our room smelled like wet dog. However, it did have a nice location within Crescent City. I’m pretty sure this used to be a Motel 6.
