Overpriced for what you get

The house overall is old and run down. Somehow the pictures make it look pretty… It’s functional and there have been some cosmetic upgrades but it’s not a fancy house. My kids loved the pool. Jacuzzi doesn’t work. The yard and patio furniture is junky. The garage door doesn’t work. The projector screen in the theatre room either didn’t work or isn’t set up properly. The kitchen has bare minimums but is missing important pieces (small spoons, salt etc) The property manager/owners were very responsive to the issues we had but I had to contact them several times during our stay (cleanliness issues, house smelling like pot, AC not working, missing linens, outside trash bins full before we got there). Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms with lots of beds but only one bathroom. On the main floor there is another bathroom but the bedroom downstairs is super run down. I wouldn’t want to sleep there. Overall we thought the house was barely ok; and we all felt that it is way overpriced. We would stay here again if we had no where else to stay (since my brother lives in the neighborhood) but only if the price was cut in half.

DO NOT STAY HERE! STILL WAITING FOR REFUND!

So I decided to book this stay for my sales team that I had flying out here and wanted to give them a nice place to stay. I booked this place because it looked super nice in the pictures and had a pool/Jacuzzi and a movie room so we can hang out and have a good time after a long day of work. I was the first one to arrive to the place and before I even got there I realized i might have gotten ripped off when I pulled off the freeway and was in a super bad part of town. Tried to stay positive though but it just kept getting worse. First thing I noticed before I even got in the house was Bare wires hanging by the door where the door belll should be (safety hazard.) I walk in and can immediately tell that this is just some dump that they tried to cheaply fix up to make it look nice enough to take pictures and catfish people. Again me being me I tried to stay Positve and think “Okay it’s not the worse atleast it has a jacuzzi and movie room.” This is where it starts to get funny. I go to the pool room to turn on the jacuzzi and get it warmed up and Again there’s bare wires all over (just a freaking hack job of a house, everything done cheaply and half ass which is a safety hazard). But that’s not where that ends turns out jacuzzi doesn’t work. So I call the property manager and ask him how to turn the hot tub on thinking I’m just not doing it right and he tells me it’s upstairs and it should work then I rephrase it and say the jacuzzi and he says “oh yeah we get this all the time it doesn’t work it says that in the description” so he knew what I was talking about but tried to defer my question and then he lied because I checked the description and it wasn’t in there. Now I’m really upset. So I go to the movie room and guess what. The projector is held together by duct tape and doesn’t correctly line up to the screen. So now Im going around the house to see what else is messed up and what do I find? Trim held up by tape. Chairs Falling apart. Couch is wobbly. Cracks in the wall. Cockroaches in the house. Drug bags outside. Can’t acces one of the rooms. I called the property manager to let him know we’re leaving and are not gonna stay there and I need my money back. He says he can’t do that that I have to contact the owner so I ask him to get me connected with the homeowner and he says he can’t. He said understand that homeowner is busy. I’m in sales and I have to deal with clients all the time this is no excuse. I assume they do this to people frequent

Best place we could asking for!

This place is perfect. Everything is thought of, the design, the kitchen is fully stocked, I was making dinner for our family and didn’t miss my kitchen at all it’s that good. The house is so comfortable, the neighborhood is great walking distance to parks and just walking. everything is really nice. Pool and cinema room was great time for our family! I would highly recommend a stay here I know we will be back!
