4/10 Poor

On June 5th through the 7th 2025 I was in Dalton for a convention and I stayed at the hotel 6 near Dalton State University. I specifically reserved and was given a handicap accessible room, in my case Room 101.
The website showed a very accessible fully ADA compatible bathroom with very well appointed roll in shower with a handicapped seat and adjustable wand. It looked perfect for my needs.
I was indeed quite frustrated and shocked when I entered the hotel room. While the bathroom was exactly as shown on the website, there was absolutely no way to reach the bathroom. A 98 lb granny shuffling sideways might have had enough room to get between the bed and the furniture to get to the bathroom but there was no way at all for someone in a wheelchair or power chair or even a walker to get from the door past the queen size bed into the bathroom to actually use the amenities.
It is disingenuous to advertise and State that you have a handicapped room when there's no way to access that part of the hotel room.
