Come “Stay Awhile” in this gorgeous new beach house with awesome views and quick access to the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of America. This fabulous home is perfect for a large family or two couples to share. Step out to the huge back porch with access via sliding glass doors from two of the bedrooms and great room. You’ll love the outdoor space of the partially covered back deck and seating for everyone since there is plenty of outdoor furniture. There’s even a hot tub and a pool for soaking away your cares at the end of a fun day on the beach. The front porch/deck faces the Gulf and is the perfect place to get a tan while listening to the waves and watching the dolphins. Furnished with comfort and style in mind, you’ll enjoy the open floorpan of the great room/dining area and kitchen where everyone can gather together. Large TVs in every room make it easy to escape to your own private space if the togetherness is too much!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Property was clean and nice. Hot tub was not working when we got there but they had someone fix it.The WiFi didn’t work but after a few calls it was fixed. Only negative was we had to go buy dishwasher detergent as none was provided.

Great Relaxing Stay

We had an amazing stay at this beach house we rented through Vacasa! The location was absolutely perfect — just a short walk to a beautiful, quiet beach with easy access and parking passes provided. The views from the house were gorgeous, and we loved being able to enjoy the ocean breeze every day. Unwinding after a long day in the spa a plus. The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully uncluttered, making it super comfortable for our family. It had everything we needed and felt very welcoming. Plus, being just a few minutes from the center of the island made grabbing food, supplies, and anything else we needed quick and convenient.It was the perfect mix of peaceful beachside living and close-to-everything convenience. We would absolutely book this home again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

House was ok....customer service was a joke.

Stayed at house last Christmas - night & day from last year. We paid a lot for the rental and had high expectations. Stains on furniture and crumbs under toaster told us they did superficial cleaning. Worse part was customer service. Wi-Fi went out several times...make sure to bring your own HOTSPOT if you stay there. Had a battle getting TV working -no help from Vacasa on any issue. Instead sent texts about wanting to help..but didn't. Won't be staying there next Christmas - owners should get better service from management group.

Not beach front as stated and must go to another location to have access. This was not a good plan for families. Paid top dollar thinking we were a walk out our door to beach. Neighbors made sure to let us know we were not allowed to use their beach.

Property was beautiful

The house itself was beautiful. Response of staff was very fast. The bbq grill was out of propane and they were onsite in under an hour. The cons: furniture in LR was horrible. It was broken down and filthy. LR only seated 6 and we had 11 people so when it was storming outside and we couldn’t use the deck furniture, you either had to go to bed or sit in the kitchen. LR rug and ottoman were filthy too. Kitchen wasn’t fully stocked. It only had the bare minimum. No cookie sheet or sheet pan. Only 1 potholder. Everytime we swept the floor we got tons of dog hair and we didn’t bring a dog. When we got there someone had left the freezer door slightly ajar and there was water all over the floor. This also made the refrigerator warm. I had purchased $1000 worth of groceries and it took 24 hours for the refrigerator to catch back up. The stove also is about 15-20 degrees cooler than what it shows. I would only reserve again if they got new and more LR furniture. Also 2 rooms had very tall beds. I had to jump to get in.

Stay Awhile is beautiful beach house

This beach house is beautiful but it is across the street from the beach. The neighbors do not let you cross by their homes so you have to walk to public access which was not too bad. There are no beach towels, etc so be sure to bring all your beach goodies. The beds were comfortable, hot water but wifi was poor. We had a great time overall.

Great House

Over all great house. The only things I wish are that the wifi was better (basically none) there is absolutely nothing in the line of spices, or even coffee filters. Also a mention of Keurig on the distribution then I would have brought pods. I don’t say these things to complain but to just let others know what to bring.

Love the layout

We really enjoyed our visit to the island. This property was wonderful. Even though we were not directly on the beach it was an easy walk across the street. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The layout was great for two families with lots of kids. The back deck was a wonderful place to eat family meals. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back!

Beautiful Dauphin Island Stay

The house was lovely and clean. The only problems we had: there were fire ants in the cupboard and there was sand in the hot tub. But other than that, it was such a lovely stay. Oh, don't try to have everyone shower at once. The water pressure can't handle it. :-)

Nice newish house. No first aid kit. No spices or other cooking stuff. Grill ignition doesn’t work, have to start with a lighter. NO WI-FI!!! No beach towels or other stuff for the beach.

Family, Fun, Relaxation

Beautiful home, beautiful views, and relaxing oceans sounds! This home is beachy modern! The kitchen/dining/living area is amazing we cooked every night. We had 9 people and there was tons of room to hang out, play board games and play the VR game. Great pantry for food and big Fridge! Gas grill was great as well! The bedrooms were spacious and the house over all was wonderfully decorated! Great shopping and restaurants, once you get to the island you will not have to leave again! You can find everything you need on the island! The hot tub was amazing after a day at the beach, or if you have any rainy days it was great to still be able to get into some water and relax! Tons of things to do on the island as well, mini golf, the fort, pelican bay, aquarium, bird sanctuary and we highly recommend renting a golf to get around the island! Also check out pirates cove- pool and lagoon swimming area and great food! The island is not over crowded with people! We will for sure be coming back next summer to make more amazing memories! Favorite new spot!!!
