The house has everything you would need for a great vacation including a spacious property, stocked kitchen, game room entertainment, and comfortable beds. You are located outside of Palm Springs, but we had no issue with finding an Uber to take us into town. Make sure you bring a portable speaker if you want to listen to music by the pool. We didn’t have one and thought the house would. Also, keep an eye out for insects. There was a black widow (we killed it) and wasps near the pool. Other than that would definitely recommend staying here. The hosts were very responsive and the house truly elevated our trip!

We had a great stay at the Grotto! There were 12 girlfriends on this trip, and we fit perfectly into the space. The property is beautiful, and the gate and door codes made it easy for everyone to get in and out. Food deliveries and Ubers can come out to the house as well!

The house and pool were amazing allowing all of us adults to have the much needed relaxation that had escaped us. The kids played in the pool, spa and game room the entire time. There was plenty of space we could all lounge to retreat from the heat when necessary. The waterfall and foliage all made it seem like we were in a tropical destination.

Fun house for a family trip. The front yard is a perfect spot to hang out all day long, with the pool, game room and space for games you can play on concrete. The pool is a little smaller than expected and the fact that the pool wasn't by all the backyard games made it a little difficult for the family to be all together.

Three generations enjoy vacation together

The covered patio and grotto pool with waterfall was a real hit with the whole family, and the arcade room had all the right games to keep active teens entertained. The whole house is well appointed and all the bedrooms and baths were comfortable and neat. There is plenty of parking for larger groups. We all enjoyed our stay.

The Grotto

The home is within 15-20 minutes to everything. There is a lot to do right on site with the games room, cards and board games. With three families and generations the layout of the house was perfect for all of us. It had a private area for each family group and communal areas for all to meet as well. It's starting to show it's age but still very functional and peaceful (except for the rooster next door). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location for a larger group.

Amazing guys golf trip

Place is exactly as advertised. It was Clean had tons of room for out party of 12. the pool and spa are great only 20 min from most golf courses . And it was nice to have all the room with no neighbors.

Great property, lots of fun and so many activities--we didn't get to them all! The house is a bit smaller than expected, but there were still plenty of beds for my group. A few things could be tightened up around the house (fixtures, handles, etc.).

The property is wonderful for a family. Game room was great. Only issue we had was figuring out pool and hot tub controls. Needs to be set up on a scheduled program so people dont have to mess with the programming themselves.

Beautiful desert oasis!

This property is a private compound offering a spacious home with enough room to accommodate 6 adults and 2 children with private space! The pool was gorgeous with water falls and a lounging area! My grandsons especially loved the game room although all of the adults played the games as well. We enjoyed the fire pit in the late evening. The grounds were especially beautiful with nice breezes to moderate the heat without humidity.

Quiet, relaxing, beautiful - can't wait to return!

So many things were amazing! The game room was so much fun but it was the outside of the property that stole our hearts! We are a family that is constantly on the go - but we could have sat there all day and stared at the pool and surroundings. We hiked at Joshua Tree, around the Airtram and at Indian Caverns but couldn't wait to get back to the pool and beautiful grounds. Also....the property managers went out of their way to make your stay memorable, which doesn't always happen with VRBO properties. Do yourself a favor and book it!
