The photos of the lobby look lovely, but don't reflect the experience of staying here. This hotel was fine, but not exceptional. If you imagine a Hyatt Place hotel that's about what to expect. The rooms and hallways are clean but standard. The beds were adequate but the linens were thin and more bedding would have been welcome. The toiletries were all of a decidedly masculine oak scent which was a curious choice. Perhaps they assume that women bring their own soaps and shampoo? We did not use the hotel restaurant or pool. The hotel was very crowded while we were there due to two weddings, and parking lots were filled. We parked across the street in a lot that was for employees only and warned that all others would be towed. I would not come back and would rather save the $100+ difference per night and stay in a Hyatt Place.

They have a free parking which course is a major perk, but they were having a wedding and there was no parking ANYWHERE at all unless you valet’d your car and I had decided I no longer wanted the room and needed to get my things out of the room and checkout but couldn’t for about an hour because I refused to forfeit more money just to be inside 10 minutes and when I called and asked what to do was transferred to valet voicemail and drove around an hour waiting for a parking spot.

We found all the staff - particularly breakfast staff to be delightful. Everyone we encountered (front desk, maintenance just in the halls) were friendly and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was very good - great selections and tasty. Very convenient to the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. Definitely recommend!
