Great for stay before/after Eurotunnel crossing

We stayed the night before getting Eurotunnel to the UK in the morning. The hotel is very basic, but the rooms are comfortable and spacious. If you are traveling with a dog a suggest requesting a room on the ground floor as they have direct access to the issued which is super convenient.

Weekend break

Excellent value, modern economy hotel, with great staff who are willing to turn to anything to benefit guests. There is a restaurant that has an evening menu, but the reception failed to mention that it is closed on Friday, but Celine on Reception has many talents and rustled up nice meals for those guests reluctant to find a restaurant outside (of which there are very few around Douai which the exception of "a table" just round the corner. Location is on a business park out of town, so you are stuck if you don't have transport. Some tables and chairs outside would be nice for those sunny days.

Well worth a stay.

When we arrived, Celine was on the check in desk and was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as was the service. Once again, very friendly. The hotel is in a very quiet location, with ample free parking and is situated just a 5 minute drive from Douai. Real value for money.

Beds comfortable

Had to,move room. Upon opening window we discovered 100's of cigarettes butts had been dumped on canopy roof, first flloor. They moved us, however the TV was not operating. Could not face moving again. To reimburse us we had our breakfast on the house. Staff were most helpful and apologetic.
