In the heart of the Loire Anjou Touraine Regional Natural Park, 30 minutes from Saumur and 45 minutes from Angers.

The Priory of Saint George is a former outbuilding of the Abbey of Saint Florent de Saumur, which no longer exists. This beautiful building, built in the 11th century, will allow you to discover its exquisite stonework during a stay for two.

The former priory, located behind the church, boasts magnificent gardens spanning nearly 6,000 m². Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere. Admire the numerous roses, the herb garden, and the hedge-lined paths. Remarkable gardens in which you can walk, relax, meditate...

The bedroom has its own private entrance with a separate toilet and bathroom with a bathtub and vanity unit. You will go upstairs via a stone staircase to access the 33 m² bedroom. New bedding consisting of two 90 x 200 cm beds, a small lounge area with a courtesy tray, a table, a large bench, and storage. All surrounded by white walls and wooden beams.

Troglodytes: these underground cavities dug into the Falun are very well represented in the region: Louresse Rochemenier Troglodyte Village, The Mysteries of Falun, Troglodytes and Sarcophagi. Rose cultivation, which you will find in various forms in Doué La Fontaine. The banks of the Loire are 25 minutes away. For lovers of castles and historic monuments, there's a wide choice within a 40km radius: Brissac-Quincé, Montreuil-Bellay, Saumur, Montsoreau, Brézé, and of course Fontevraud Abbey...
