Chapel Farm Cottage is a delightful cottage in the heart of the Wolds village of Wetwang midway between York and the East Coast.

Step inside into the open-plan living area and be greeted by exposed beams and a stone floor. A comfortable seating area surrounds the wood burning stove and is an ideal spot in which to enjoy social time together during the day. The country-style kitchen sits to one end and offers a host of modern appliances including an electric oven, hob, and a washing machine. There are plenty of cupboards to store your holiday essentials as well as an abundance of work top space to assist in preparing a picnic to enjoy whilst out walking or perhaps cook up a delicious home cooked evening meal. The dining table sits to one side and offers plenty of seating for four. Chapel Farm Cottage also offers a second living area with electric wood burner. Take the winding cottage stairs to the first floor and find two pretty cottage style bedrooms offering a mixture of double and twin accommodation and across the hall is a house bathroom offering a shower over bath. To the rear of the cottage is the garden with a small lawned area, paved seating and a small gazebo; here you can enjoy an early morning coffee or enjoy an al fresco evening meal.

If you don’t fancy cooking, then head over to the local Inn and enjoy a glass or two of your favourite holiday tipples and some delicious pub grub or wander down through the village where and you’ll find a fabulous fish and chip shop. Wetwang is in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, and is surrounded by the wonderful market towns of Driffield, Market Weighton and Malton. The Minster town of Beverley is a 25 minute drive and the ancient walled City of York is just 40 minutes away.

This pretty cottage is ideally placed to enjoy the wonders of the Yorkshire Wolds as well as the East Coast. Time here would not be complete without enjoying the seaside towns of Filey, Bridlington and Hornsea. A visit to RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a must and the stately homes of Sledmere House, Burton Agnes Hall and Castle Howard are all within easy reach.
