Disliked: Cleanliness
Let me start by saying my whole experience with VRBO was a mess. I informed them on arrival that the home looked different than the pictures posted and the floor was dirty and didn’t feel completely cleaned. There was no outdoor dining area as advertised. The towels and bed sheets didn’t feel clean and the couches had dirty stains on them. I actually went and purchased my own towel. The next day me as a woman staying alone and someone rings the doorbell three times and knocks on my door. I’m scared. I open the door and it appears the housekeeper who maintains the other suites in the building. He requests to come in to get the bedsheets and he can’t speak English and I keep telling him I feel it’s inappropriate for him to knock and come in and he takes those bedsheets he left on a drying rack in my room and uses it for another suite. He doesn’t seem to understand. On top of that the host was late to inform me of the check in procedures and they never responded to my messages of the messy apartment or the scam of putting photos of a nice apartment and giving me this one which had dirty dingy furniture.
