Room and staff were nice and friendly. At check in they messed up my reservation. When came to find out why my room was not a sea view like I had reserved, they said that the reservation was for a standard room. Even after showing them a print out of the reservation receipt from Expedia, they claimed that is not what Expedia had booked for me. They told me to contact Expedia to get it resolved with them. I had a hard time getting hold of anyone at Expedia, so I took the matter into my own hands. I spoke with a manager at the hotel. I asked him to confirm my reservation number. They had a different number compared to what I had on my reservation record. They finely realized there was a mistake and changed my room. But they did not admit it was their fault and blamed it on us. The following morning I had issues with the breakfast. They said my breakfast was not included and that I would need to pay for it. This happened again the next day too. It was finally resolved but the overall experience from a 5 star hotel to treat their customers this way is not acceptable.

Great and beautiful property. Service was amazing, including cleaners and wait staff on the pool. Location is a little far away from the main Palm, but good if you want a quieter trip. Only feedback was that upon check-in we were not told of the hotel amenities, which we found at the end of our stay. Would have been good to know more about these, give the price paid for the hotel.

The property itself is beautiful. It is presented well and looked after. The room was comfortable and was big enough for the 4 of us to stay in, and the service from most of the staff was amazing. Requests didnt seem like too much to ask for and most staff were happy to oblige with any request given. The pool is only a few feet deep which is perfect for having a relaxing dip without feeling like you have to do too much to stay afloat and the staff around the pool were fantastic, more than happy to setup a pool bed for you and provide you with a mini esky with bottles of water and ice in it. However, the review takes a turn when it comes to the cost and quality of the food itself. I would suggest not taking the included breakfast option as we often found the buffet was cold (even for hot food) and we are certain my wife ended up with food poisoning from the buffet, ruining 3 days. Also, I am still waiting on a refund for an overcharge on my credit card for the evening buffet. I would also suggest staying away from the Roaring Rabbit as the quality of food presented doesnt match the price tag. Raia was probably the only restaurant that was any good for quality food. However, while I do expect paying more in tourist area and Dubai in general, the prices charged for any food in the hotel were bordering on exorbitant. I would suggest organising other places to eat, possibly even at the Nakheel Mall where its reasonably priced, more selection and better quality.

The hotel is very nice. The selection of food available in the buffet and the other restaurants is impressive. The pool is amazing as is the beach area. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The view across The Palm from our balcony was very impressive. My main constructive feedback would be the cost of drinks around the pool which were very expensive for things like a chocolate milkshake or a small beer. With the price of the hotel I expected more reasonable pricing for drinks. There is also no entertainment in the evenings which would have been nice especially for those with young families. While the location on The Palm is very impressive it’s important to know the traffic on The Palm can be very busy and add considerable time to a journey when travelling off The Palm on an excursion or just going into the city.

Overall experience was good, Only thing that on arrival check in no Wellcome drinks and no hand and face towels offered. Breakfast was limited in choice. Definitely not worth £300 a night. My own experience based on my stay hotel not worth more than £180-£220 a night anything more than this amount it is not worth it. Due to similar properties when you do compared you can get better value for money still luxury and beach front property.

Our stay at Taj Exotica was truly memorable. The hotel is impeccably clean, with every space - from the lobby to the rooms - maintained to the highest standard. Breakfast was a daily delight, offering a wide range of options that catered beautifully to different tastes. One of the standout moments was the complimentary upgrade to a sea view room, offered as a goodwill gesture by the team. It was a generous touch that elevated our experience. The food throughout the resort was consistently excellent, and the spa services were top-tier - calming, professional, and deeply restorative. The only downside was our experience with the shisha. We paid £55 to try it one evening, but unfortunately it was poor quality. Even after requesting a replacement, it remained disappointing. That said, this was a minor blip in an otherwise exceptional stay. Highly recommended for those seeking a luxurious, well-managed retreat with thoughtful service and excellent amenities.
