Room and staff were nice and friendly. At check in they messed up my reservation. When came to find out why my room was not a sea view like I had reserved, they said that the reservation was for a standard room. Even after showing them a print out of the reservation receipt from Expedia, they claimed that is not what Expedia had booked for me. They told me to contact Expedia to get it resolved with them. I had a hard time getting hold of anyone at Expedia, so I took the matter into my own hands. I spoke with a manager at the hotel. I asked him to confirm my reservation number. They had a different number compared to what I had on my reservation record. They finely realized there was a mistake and changed my room. But they did not admit it was their fault and blamed it on us. The following morning I had issues with the breakfast. They said my breakfast was not included and that I would need to pay for it. This happened again the next day too. It was finally resolved but the overall experience from a 5 star hotel to treat their customers this way is not acceptable.
