Located in unsafe area of the city. Rooms are so small, no where to put your luggage. I feared bed bugs so I slept clothed and didn’t unmake the bed. Avoid at all costs!
It was a very cute and affordable spot, and the rooms were very nice. My only critique is the bed was wildly uncomfortable, and barely dressed. But the staff were delightful during our one night stay, and breakfast was tasty.
The staff was wonderful, they gave us the whole rundown when we came in and were super informative. Rooms were incredibly nice and well kept with lots of cool features. The area is really close to the temple bar shopping/dining district and other popular areas.
Good location, very central and handy for the Luas.
Room was clean and comfortable, with a comfy bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Very little storage space, no wardrobe or clothes rail and would have benefitted from a fridge. Staff were very friendly. Didn't eat breakfast as there were plenty of local cafes we visited.
Nice enough hotel and didnt seem overly busy so we decided to have dinner in the restaurant/bar. Choice was poor, pizza or burgers. Ordered 2 chicken burgers. The burgers were not chicken breast and were processed chicken in the shape of a burger. Both burgers were stone cold in the centre. Reported this to the staff and waited a further 15 mins. By this time we had been almost an hpur waiting for dinner so gave up and asked for a refund.
Incredibly comfortable stay and centrally located. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. I couldn’t have asked for more. Clean, Tidy , friendly and well priced.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
I enjoyed my stay. Slept well, friendly service, and clean accommodation. Will stay again and recommend to others.
This was my 2nd time staying at a Point A (1st in London) & once again I was impressed. The security, cleanliness, there was a restaurant/ bar in the lobby so having a late night drink was nice & inexpensive. The room is small but all we did was sleep there so it was perfect. I would absolutely recommend Point A to friends & family. The only issue we had was watching a lady we found out later was the manager completely berate the sweet girl checking people in, in front of everybody. It was completely unprofessional & uncalled for. The girl clearly told everyone trying to check in early when the cleaning staff started but couldn't guarantee when any rooms would be available. A guy began to yell at her & twisted everything she said & the manager took the guys side, yelling at her when she in fact did exactly what she was being scolded about. The guy was just rude & wanted his way & couldn't get it. Nobody should have to experience that at work in front of everyone & the manager should be ashamed of herself for openly treating her so poorly. It was the most horrific display of utter disrespect. She should not be in a leadership role having such a lack of respect for the front desk crew. As we continued to observe her during our stay, it never got better. She was rude to every front desk clerk there & snapped at us when our key card failed to work for the security door. I highly suggest finding a new manager - she obviously hates her job.
