Air conditioning system was garbage.
Could not sleep for 2 nights, complaint but no follow up.
Reception dont pick up call after 12am when you need sometjing.
2 water bottle per day when you pay 400 euro per nighy.
Room are too small.
I will not reccomend to anyone ever.
Do not waste money.
I need one day refund for not getting sleep for 2 nigjts because ventilation was not working properly and i had to open up the window.
Rooms are small and not well appointed for multi person, multi night stay. Business traveler friendly...one or two nights, single person.
Room lighting is poor. Bathroom lighting and mirror lacking.
The Samuel staff is excellent; they are very welcoming and helpful. We had no troubling dropping off bags and then getting into our room when it was check-in time. The beds are very comfortable, & the rooms are clean and modern. The location is about half a block to the tram to go to the city center, which is convenient (about 15-20 minutes to Christ Church with walking and the tram). The hotel has both a restaurant and a coffee shop, both of which are good, and more restaurants are available at the next stop from the tram station and the Abbey stop (about 10 minutes) is in the restaurant district. The Samuel is a great choice.
Very convenient for the 3Arena, good Luas connection.
Comfortable bed, good shower.
Breakfast would have been great if there had been a bit of flexibility.
I didn’t know the doors to the coffee dock & pastries etc would be locked on the dot of 10 o’clock!!
Every member of staff we encountered were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything done with a smile. Can’t praise them highly enough.
Room wasn’t large, but was big enough.
A bit limited for drawers/storage.
Beautifully decorated.
Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Like the new dockland development but opening you window in the morning to see a multifloor glass office full of people some 10 meters away was unsettling. As well, the AC couldnt keep up with hot days in Dublin. I know they are rare, but room was unbearably hot.
An first class hotel and professional workers. I appreciated the excellent room and the convenient location for walking as well as accessing public transport. A highly recommended experience.
