Staff very helpful and our studio room was very comfortable. The bed was super comfy. In the bathroom was a washing machine and tumble dryer. Ideal if you are travelling. The food for breakfast and evening meal was delicious. Excellent breakfast choices.

The room is really nice, clean, sufficient size, and the view is very nice. What is surprising is that there is a washing machine in the room!! However, the hotel itself is completely lack of ambiance, even with the holiday seasons!!! It does not feel welcoming or cozy. The lighting is very cold. Given that it is a historical building, I think they could have done a better job revamping the hotel and make it more style and deisgn

Nice property. Really well appointed. Great breakfast. Enjoyed staying here very much. Paying for parking isn't something we're used to so this trip to the South Island was a real eye opener. I appreciate the hotel are just doing what the city does but we found free parking less than 100m so. Not sure this promotes healthy tourism, but what would I know.
