A very nice hotel in an excellent location and super value for a comfortable nights stay. Breakfast was excellent and evening meal also good. All staff really nice and friendly, would stay again.
A lovely, spotlessly clean hotel with very friendly and kind-hearted staff. I absolutely loved my stay here and will look forward to staying here again in times to come.
Location is fantastic. Room was spacious and comfortable. The Hotel has a few parking spaces available but sited right on a public car park. Breakfast was excellent.
Hotal was beatifull, couldnt fault it.But coffe shop staff were horrible.Standing doing nothing sniggering at me struggling with my luggage.
Im aware uts not thier job to help with luggage, but it i
s thier job to be friendy and helpfull
Stayed one night as we were at a show at the Alhambra. Room was spotlessly clean and warm. Comfy bed but the pillows were hard ☹️
Breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful
With it being a Sunday night which was slow in foot traffic and the main bar being closed, we had dinner in the restaurant. Excellent fish and chips but 1 of my guests was served a very dry and tastless burger. It was removed from our bill which was appreciated.
Service on drinks was slow and we needed to chase down refills.
Breakfast in the morning was confusing. No direction from our server. Continental offerings we're spread all over the place. In the bar area there was cereal,
juices and whole fruits.
At the other end of the restaurant there's a 6ft table with coffee, yogurt and a huge industrial toaster.
Coffee wasn't offered at the table, so you have to take the small coffee cup and fill it yourself. This proved to be a challenge getting back to your table without spilling it.
Scrambled eggs are not freshly cracked eggs. There liquid eggs . Resulting in rubber eggs.
Sausages were deep fried and not enjoyable.
Room was clean but in room 6 the hand sink doesn't drain.
Thank you Colin Brown
Good stay. Room was comfortable and very clean. Information booklet in room was useful. Good amount of workspace and plenty of sockets. Good breakfast selection that was included in the price. Stored my luggage in a locked cupboard. Only negatives were the window treatments-slated vertical blinds are not the best choice as they let in a lot of light-a solid blind would be better so if you are sensitive to light an eye-mask would be useful. Also quite a lot of laminated signs in room-maybe condense or put in info. book.
On arrival there was a notice on the reception desk about Karaoke that evening, I had not been advised of this when booking.
It was so loud that it was impossible to sleep, this highly impacted the quality of my stay. Everything else about the hotel was perfect so
I would recommend staying any night except Karaoke night if you have an early start the next day
Our room was nice but cold. Our radiator was only half warm on full setting and the towel rail didn’t work at all. We used the extra blanket and were ok during the night. We asked for a fan heater, we couldn’t get one for whatever reason. None left? Also had to borrow a hairdryer from reception in the morning, they wouldn’t give me one at night.
Online check-in didn't work when it came to my signature, but apart from that stay was perfect. Evening dinner and breakfast delicious. Will return and recommend. Thank you.
Pros; Handy for city centre. Although the room was small it was well thought out and had everything I needed.
Parking available by hotel entrance.
Cons; Being an attic room the shower was a bit tight due to the roofline.
I stay here every week for last few months
Will e here for next 3
Enjoy Rebecca smile as I walk through the door ets the tone for my time working in Dunfermline
The staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed the quaintness of property that was such an easy walk to the Abbey, palace and surroundings, pubs, bakeries etc.
