Welcome to Lake Pocotopaug! Enjoy four seasons of fun, relaxation and adventure! This lakefront destination offers it all.  Perfect home whether you're traveling for work or pleasure. Excellent home for couples, families or business travelers! Your lakefront destination will be filled with beautiful sunrises and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

This spacious 3000 square foot home is very comfortably furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to make a wonderful romantic, family or holiday dinner. There are 4 bedrooms with high quality mattresses and linens which accommodate up to 9 guests. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, second room has a queen size bed with 1 single bunk (best suited for a child or nimble adult). Third bedroom has a queen size bed. Forth bedroom has 2 twin XL beds which convert into a king size bed, if requested. Each bedroom has its own TV with cable, Netflix and Prime Video as well as USB charging ports or cables. The house has 3 full bathrooms with showers.

The house has multiple locations to charge your electronic devices and has fast and secure WiFi. There is a dedicated workspace area for working on your laptop or writing out your postcards from all the wonderful places you visited during your stay!

Take in an amazing sunrise with your morning coffee from one of many decks, perhaps from the upper deck or lakeside. Perhaps eat your breakfast, lunch or dinner outside at the large dining table. Prepare your meals indoor in the kitchen or outdoor on the grill.

End your day around the fire pit sharing stories, eating s'mores or with a glass of wine on the swing. Delight in the moon's reflection on the water as it dances to the evening sounds of the lake.

Enjoy a number of board games and even a foosball game. Keep score, draw, play tic-tac-toe or hangman on the blackboard wall! Play chess, checkers or backgammon with a lake view.

Grab some fresh air and explore the lake with Kayaks, a canoe, a paddle board or large swan float available for use on property. During the winter, try your hand at ice fishing, cross country skiing or ice skating.

The lake house is perfectly located to take advantage of all the region has to offer! Enjoy leaf peeping, casinos, parks, museums, aquariums, historic towns, restaurants, skiing or stay local and enjoy East Hampton and the surrounding towns.

*There is a town owned Boat launch for East Hampton residents or long-term renters. Boat dock access on the premises for town registered small motor watercraft such as pontoon boats and jet skis.

Quiet time must be followed! After 10:30pm Friday and Saturday. 8pm on all other days per town regulations and respect for our neighbors.
Only 3 extra daily guests allowed per day per booking. 12 people maximum on premise. No parties allowed.
No smoking on the property and no pets are strictly enforced. All guests will be asked to leave if not followed.

The stay was exactly what we were looking for. We planned on a long weekend so we could celebrate Xmas. Dee and Jerry were very accommodating (they may have even ordered some snow to make it an appropriate Xmas).The house was big enough for is so we could spend time together but still hehe our own quiet time if needed. Hoping to come back again.

Perfect place to celebrate our family Christmas (7 of us plus our 18 month old grandson). The house was clean and nicely furnished. Our hosts were responsive and provided a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! We enjoyed an evening bonfire and our grandson loved the chalk wall!

The code was easy to access for the door, and on our arrival we were greeted with a bottle of French wine and a bucket of various snacks. We had stayed for Thanksgiving and there was a Christmas tree set up for us with white lights and a bucket of ornaments if we felt the need to decorate. The kitchen was very nice with all the necessities and good working appliances. There was a kitchen table that was enough to sit hate people. we enjoyed the beautiful living room with a gas fireplace in the morning. There was a beautiful view with the lake and two chairs inside to have coffee and watch the sun shine off the lake while having nice morning conversation the beds and the bedrooms were large enough and very comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend it and would like to come back in the summer or fall.

What a beautiful place! Dee was very quick to respond to messages, although we didn’t have any real problems because everything was as described and in wonderful condition. I would love to stay here in the summer sometime! The beds were comfortable - the snacks and wine that the hosts left for us were greatly appreciated! Definitely a 10/10!

Love our stay at Lake Pocotopaug! Dee and Jerry's place is spacious and charming and has a great outdoor setup. The weather was not great, but we still had fun on the kayaks and paddleboard. We were there for Wesleyan University graduation.

Fabulous lakehouse; Wonderful hosts!!!

This gorgeous lakehouse was perfect for our group of old friends to gather for our annual board gaming weekend! All the amenities,spectacular views, and such a well maintained, comfortable, spacious and relaxing retreat. We thoroughly enjoyed all the lovely gaming spaces and nooks, and being able to cook all our meals in their extremely well outfitted kitchen, and with their lovely outdoor grill! Kayaking, birding and the sunrises over the lake were all amazing. Best of all, Dee and Jerry were so incredibly welcoming, kind and truly wonderful hosts! They went out of their way to accommodate us, and we are so grateful and thankful to have enjoyed such a lovely, memorable stay!. ensure that our stay was .Thank s!!!

Perfect Week

Nine of us stayed at the house for a week before my daughter’s wedding. The house, location and lake were all perfect. We had plenty of room inside and out. The house was very clean and outside area was great for enjoying the sunrise and evening fires. The lake was great to kayak and paddle-board. The owners were attentive to detail and easily accessible. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Lakehouse

We had a great experience as our little team of peers met to do some strategic planning for the next academic year. The owners couldn't have been better at communicating and making us feel welcome. If only they could have controlled the weather :). The house was equipped with everything we needed. The location was lovely. I will note that, maybe because we were friends and not family, if you were in one of the 3 downstairs bedrooms, you had to walk through the living area to get to the bathrooms. We managed, but it wasn't optimal for those of us who need to use the bathroom several times a night. Beyond that, it was everything we had hoped for.

Highly recommended

This was the perfect spot to gather friends and family flying in to celebrate our UConn grad! Everyone felt at home and comfortable. Wish the weather was a bit more cooperative and we had more time to enjoy the lakefront. The outside deck was my absolute favorite place to wind down. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Wedding weekend

Our family was in town for our son’s wedding. This property was perfect for us! Plenty of room and absolutely everything we could possibly need was available. Nice linens, very clean and lots of amenities. We had a great time and would love to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the lake. Dee was super responsive and was able to help us out when we realized we’d forgotten a couple items. Thank you!!!

We were a group of 8 friends/spouses attending the wedding of our friends son. Everything about the house was great. The property owners had thought of everything we could possibly need and they responded quickly to any questions we had. The house is very well stocked and maintained. Beautiful setting directly on the lake. It’s a great location for spending time reconnecting with people.

The best property rental ever

We have stayed at A LOT of house rentals over the years and i really have to say honestly, this was our favorite. The only issue, was our time was too short. The property sits right on the lake and has ample outdoor seating options and great swimming. The hosts have thought of EVERYTHING, far more than average hosts. We never ran into anything that we felt was lacking at all, they have truly covered you for a fantastic stay. It was so great to have family together making memories at such a beautiful location. Hope too be back!!

Family Reunion

We came from 3 states for a week together and had a wonderful time at the house. It was roomy and comfortable for the 9 of us. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are plenty of activities, both inside and out. I especially appreciated the crisp sheets and plush towels. Thanks for the beautiful house.

Wonderful stay

Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was there - even birthday candles and superglue (which we used)! We needed an envelope for gratuities for church helpers (found them in the desk). We gathered for a family funeral and the house was cozy and comfortable. Great space to enjoy the lake view.
