Secluded Luxury 4-bedroom, 3.5 Bath, Creek House Cabin in Ellijay

Start your day in your rocking chair on the back deck, enjoying the soothing sounds of water rushing down Tails Creek. Afterward, embark on a day of exploration in the stunning North Georgia Mountains. Spend your day hiking, fishing, tubing, shopping, Apple Orchards Visiting, Breweries & wineries or just relaxing next to the firepit or in a hammock. Carters Lake is 1 mile away if you like to fish, cayak, or swim. We are 13 minutes from the lovely downtown Ellijay, 35 minutes from Blue Ridge, 1 hour, 15 minutes from Roswell, GA.

Our goal in building this cabin was to have a quiet, peaceful place surrounded by nature and be as close to water as possible. A place for family to relax. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the back deck, all you hear is the flow of Tails Creek. 1 mile down the road is beautiful Carters Lake, well known for great fishing with 62 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 450 feet. If you prefer fly fishing, trout streams are all over the area. We are 13 minutes from the shops & restaurants of lovely downtown Ellijay.


THE MAIN FLOOR:
Step into our cabin and take off your shoes and coat in the mudroom. As you walk down the hallway you'll pass the laundry room, followed by a 1/2 bath. To the right is the master bedroom with large windows and views to the creek. As you lay in the King Size Bed, you can crack the windows and listen to the creek. You'll find closets with plenty of storage to unpack. Also in the room is a unique, quiet little reading nook. The bedroom has a 42' smart HDTV. The Master Bathroom has (4) different options of shower heads.


Further down the hallway, you'll enter the Living Room, Kitchen, and Dining Room. The Kitchen has all the amenities you'd need. We are a cooking family, so you should find all the necessary cookware. The Keurig Coffee Maker is available with a supply of coffee pods. The gas grill is located on the back deck. The dining table area is shaped like a peninsula surrounded by windows to nature, with 8 chairs.
The kitchen is tied in with the living room and has a 72" smart HDTV above the gas log fireplace.
Out on the deck, there is plenty of comfortable seating. Outdoor dining table for 8, 3 rocking chairs, 2 comfy swivel chairs, and a couch. Above the outdoor gas fireplace is a 52' smart HDTV.


THE UPSTAIRS:
As you arrive up the stairs you'll have a bedroom with a set of twin beds. Further down the hall is the game room with darts, large wall scrabble, large wall chess, and a large 72' smart HDTV. Connected to the game room is a full bathroom.


THE DOWNSTAIRS:
The downstairs contains 2 bedrooms, both with King Size beds. The bedrooms share a full bathroom with double vanities. In the hallway between the rooms is Keurig Coffee Bar with a supply of coffee pods. Take your coffee out to the downstairs deck, where you'll have (3) rocking chairs and (2) hammocks.


Throughout the cabin, you'll find original artwork as originals or limited prints.

The name of the creek behind the cabin is Tails Creek and it flows into Carters Lake, approximately 1.5 miles downstream. Carters Lake has about 61 miles of shoreline with an average depth of 200 feet and a maximum depth of 450 feet. The Core of Engineers owns the lake and contains no homes or docks around its shoreline.
