Nice upgrade!

Booked a suite, which was actually joining rooms, converted by removing 2nd bed, adding sofa and chairs. That then included 2 full baths, a very nice upgrade for 2 travelers. Also, pet friendly.

Unusual layout.

Strange layout. Lobby was for both Days Inn and Baymont and the lobby was separate from the rooms that were all out back. Outside looked like a former hotel and my room looked renovated. Bath room was a little weird but functional.

As soon as i woke up i was itching all over. There was definitely a cleanliness issue. I don't know if it was bed bugs or what. Never staying there again.

Better motels in the area and better areas to stay

The property is in a poor area, not much to do, lack of dining options, etc. Close to 95 which is convenient but heard trucks all night long, plus there are obviously train tracks nearby.

We stayed here because they accepted our pets. Compared to other properties that we stayed at in the same category, we liked this hotel the best. It was clean, comfortable and priced reasonably. When returning to the south with our cats i am definitely going to be looking into staying at a Baymont again.
